President Trump won't commit to a peaceful transfer of power should he lose the election. He's stated that the only way he can lose the upcoming election is if it's "rigged". Given Trump's history, it seems probable that Trump would *never* willingly concede an election loss to Biden. Further, it seems probable that Trump will challenge the election results through any means at his disposal including legal challenges, attempted influence of the electoral college process at the state level, etc.

In sum, it's likely that *if* Trump loses the apparent votes / EC necessary to remain President, he won't go without a fight.

So, in light of the forthcoming claims by Trump of election "fraud" and being "rigged", will you recognize the election results or will you back a President trying to remain in office despite losing the election? I've simplified the options to only "yes" or "no", because it's a given that Trump will allege the election is bogus if he loses in the polls.

It seems like a question that's insane to even pose, but that's where we are at this point.

The only way I will have any issues with the outcome of this election is if in battleground states mail in ballots are continually counted for days after the election and more and more ballots magically show up for Biden. I am sure if this happens the stream of ballots will suddenly stop coming in once Biden gets enough votes.

Yes, unless this happens. Don't even try to say it's not possible.

Hell no, let's fight it out and cleanse the country! Either that or a Trump/Biden winner-take-all death match

I'm just preparing for neither side to accept the results. This is going to be ugly for people in large cities and those whose local/state govt has decided they don't have a right to adequate self defense

I am saying yes. Only way I would even think no is if it drags on beyond a week.

Can't say for sure which side I'd fall on, but that may be the only way forward. That or just balkanize the country.

This is a DA post, not surprising who started it. My bet was on LG but you were a close second.
When Biden loses, you don't think he's going to fight it every way possible? Come on, really a waste of bandwidth and Volnation server space.

Not even going to vote in this dumbass poll.

Once each election commission in each state certifies their results that tally is complete. Once that happens 50 total times the count is complete and the winner is determined. A protest is a next phase if it occurs but the election is over at that time and whether an individual accepts it or not is moot

If either side disputes the election, expect lawsuits and the like. This would put us into December at a minimum, per the 2000 election.

We may be headed into Civil War II regardless of the results. The more BLM spreads, the closer we get to war, IMO. But yes, I'll recognize the winning candidate as POTUS.
