I think the best self-promoters I have ever seen in my lifetime are Vince McMahon, Donald Trump, Michael Jordan, and Deion Sanders. HIstorically, I think you can rate them right up there with J. P. Morgan and P. T. Barnum.
I get the anti-Sanders sentiment, but I liked him as a Cowboy and as a Red (my fav NFL and MLB teams)
In today's culture, I think most of the athletes are filled with arrogance and entitlement
They are very talented, but right now BYU's doin to em what dey dun to K State

I will also say that in an era in which many athletes acted like brats, outlaws, and druggies, Deion stayed away from a lot of those controversies.

There's arrogance there, but someone could choose a worse (and of course a better) role model than Deion.

Looked pretty bratty when Shedeur went to the opponents side of the field after a victory this year and showed the other team his Rolex watch.
