Other than an interesting side story, Idgaf who the OC is. Although, I must admit, i wish they'd make an announcement so too end the speculative threads in the ff.

Not to contradict myself, I don't know who it might be, but I wouldn't put a penny on either one of those. I would put money on its not Friend and Probst won't be THE OC. I think its possible Probst could be part of the equation somehow, maybe co OC or something, but I doubt even that.

An NFL guy seems the most logical as to why we've waited, but which one? A couple of posters here I consider pretty knowledgeable suggest it could be Sarkisian (sp).

Would be cool if it was a solid hire.

I can't say IDGAF, I am interested. I don't think its as important as many in the FF do, but even though I don't think its Friend or Probst, if its Probst, my confidence in Pruitt, Fulmer and company may take a drastic hit that most likely takes a miracle to restore.

Agree completely. If it was Friend, it’d be over already. Probst can’t make that kind of leap. I am intrigued, but the meltdowns in the FF is so amusing to me. I’ve determined CA Vol is 13 years old and won’t live to see 19.

Does Tua play next year at Alabama? The reason I ask is a friend thinks he sits out because of the fear of draft stock dropping?

That’s absurd, you can’t sit out a year and your draft stock will rise, just the opposite would happen. He’ll either play or enter the draft. Don’t see him as a guy who would leave early.

He won't fawking shut up about it. Over 2 hours now. He says Tua is a new breed and is the beginning of this type thing. Says no way he plays next year.

I know no one cares, but he's a good friend and I've never seen this side of him. He keeps repeating himself and each time gets more and more "antimated". I just told him the more he talks the more Im convinced I'm right so he might as well stfu. Lol, bout to hurt his feelers.

By the way, he can't enter the draft until after the 2019 season is my understanding. That's the way we're arguing anyway.y friend is saying he sits on the bench next year. I say 1) no he wont , he'll play unless he gets hurt 2) he can't just "not play". They give him a scholarship to play football. I mean, I'm not positive I'm right about that, but it really doesn't matter, I say he plays.

Anyway blah blah blah.

Yea, its pretty simple and I don't say that being a smartass. He thinks Tua sits out next year by his own choice. He will not play a down in football. He will sit on the bench, or at home until he is eligible for the draft then enter the draft. His last time on a college football field will be the NC if they make it. If not, it will be against Okie in the first round.

players like that can go ***h themselves and most NFL management would frown upon that. He’s a lefty and has problems if he is exposed to a top round ****** team like the Browns or Raiders

This got said about players skipping bowl games which proved wrong. Now even more are doing it. NFL won’t frown upon it if he’s good enough. And since he derives zero earnings from the NCAA, I like his thinking if true.
