That was totally expected. Their biggest need was a pg. The only thing that would have stopped that would have been if Rickea was still available. I heard a podcast that said the Wings GM "coveted" Rickea. Sheldon has a chance to do well there.

Diamond does seem to have grown up alot. Still though, those are some very strong personalities to go with hardcore no nonsence TSpoon. I'm kinda glad Rickea is out of that.

Congrats to Rickea, especially after her long, strange journey through WCBB. Glad Tennessee could give her a place to settle in, work on her game, and leave college in a good place.

The WNBA draft is staged just the NBA version with top prospects all dressed to the nines and making the same speeches about their dreams coming true and being able to "help their families." But the NBA picks will be signing multi-million dollar contracts whereas the WNBA picks will get $95,000 a year. I don't need to get flamed about how "this what the market decides" and the men deserve more because demand...... I am just commenting on what I find to be an interesting but unstated contradiction in the broadcast.
