Woman Has 15 Abortions In 17 Years

So are condoms and birth control pills also wrong? They are interfering with the "right to life" as well...

No they are not wrong. You are not killing a child you are using prevention. What is wrong though is the 41 million babies (my numbers could be off a little these are the last figures I have) aborted since Roe v. Wade.

I'm not so certain a 1st trimester fetus is a baby.

Its our founding document. Our founding fathers stated there that we have the right to life. I am not sure what you all don't get about that.

What about in cases where the mother's health is in danger? Does she get the right to life? Who's right to life takes precedence?

Where is abortion being legal in the constitution.

Nice little non-answer there.

And if you want to play that game, tell me where in the constitution it isn't legal. It all goes back to when a life is a life. Just because you and Jerry Falwell say it begins at the very moment of conception doesn't make it so.

I have heard many professionals in this area say this never happens. That this is propaganda used by the left.

Just me Jerry Falwell and roughly half the American public. Just because you and Hussein say you should be able to take a human life doesn't mean you should be able to.

Even if your numbers are true (which I highly doubt) a majority belief doesn't mean it is an accurate one.

Furthermore Justin, if you want to use public opinion models and start spouting off statistics like you, Falwell, and half of the country agrees that there is a full blown life at the moment of conception, it would be nice to hear from you how that jibes with these poll results:

Stem Cell Research

I did not know we were debating stem cell research. The only pollster I trust is Rasmussen. But on this topic I don't think many Americans understand the issue of stem cells. And many scientists have said that the afterbirth is much better for getting stem cells than embryonic stem cells. But hey any time we can use tax payer money to kill embryos thats a good thing I guess.

The difference here is you are trying to figure every way you can to defend abortion and I am trying to find every way to avoid it. That tells me a lot about you.

The fact that you are convicting me of defending abortion at every turn tells me you either haven't bothered to read any or all of what I have posted in this thread, or, you really can't understand it. I'm not quite sure which is worse.

The stem cell poll was used as an example to counter your proposition that "around" half of americans believe life begins at conception...one which you put forth without any sort of proof or reasoning behind. Same with just about everything else you have posted in this thread. And Americans don't understand the stem cell issue? Did you even bother to read the link I posted and how the questions were asked? Knowing nothing other than using stem cells used from viable human embryos, the public voted in almost a 2 to 1 margin in favor of conducting this research on moral grounds...and parsed with you and your non-sources, they believe so knowing they are killing a baby that is obviously there. So I ask again (probably in futile) how these results correlate with your baseless assertions.

I would also love for you to rationally explain how you are coming to the conclusion that life begins at conception....and especically, how you don't see a qualitative difference between a 2 week old embryo and a 2 year old kid.

I'm not going to hold my breath though, because if I had to guess, your entire response will just be more of this misunderstanding of constitutional rights, psuedo-importance of the BoR in legality of supreme court decisions, blanket statements about statistics with no backing, charges of left-wing propaganda nonsense, and blanket discreditation of legitimate scientific poll results.

...but nothing legitimate to further your argument.

There is no point in arguing with you. I have read every one of your posts. Its just a difference in philosphy. You are pro abortion and I am pro life. You will not change my mind and I will not change yours.

Well, I remember 21 years ago, my wife took this test. It said that she was pregnant. We got excited because she was. At the end of a 9 month period, my wife had a 9 lb. 15 oz., 23 1/2 inch baby boy.

We were expecting a baby from the day she found out. So from that moment of conception, that bouncing baby grew and developed into a baby, it grew from that moment on. Doesn't life mean that it had to grow from the moment of his conception? Cell one to cell two to cell three and so on........

This only applies when you're trying to explain evolution.

That's a good way to argue, attempt to demonize the opposition.

By the way, do we live in a theocracy?

Your belief that I am pro-abortion is completely wrong, and all I ask for is some rational arguments and to put aside the the blanket accusations of left wing agendas and imaginary polls you cite.

If anything, we disagree this is a black and white issue. It is either pro-life or pro-death with you and my position is a little more nuanced. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion, of course, and I am entitled to question yours when you post it on an internet board.

i haven't read through the whole thread, but surely after 20 pages it was decided that yes, this woman deserves to be thrown into a woodchipper...
