The article on Go Vols Extra screws him by mentioning UT sports. If he doesn't use the basketball team as a way to get more fans/be more popular then this isnt a problem

Apparently RW is on a rap scholly instead of a BB scholly. All his pub comes from his rapping, certainly not from his achievements on the court.

Rucker is saying that New Amsterdam gives this room for free to frats to throw parties so more than likely they will be able to get out of it. But it makes me mad that you guys are hating on him so much. Swiperboy is the best team player we have. Go read his tweets or listen to some of his songs. The kid loves UT and would do anything to help the team even if it is to ride the pine.. Learn some things about these players before you go and bash them for things.

I got in free all the time at Bar Knox and New Amsterdam. I guess because I have boobs. Not just the athletes get in free, these bouncers pick and choose who they want in for free. Hold them accountable!!! Haha! I hope this new "violation" isn't a big thing. Too much drama surrounding us.

the coaches i work with would all but kill a kid for pulling a stunt like this.

#1 - you're ankle hurts too bad for you to play, yet it doesn't hurt badly enough that you can shoot a music video.

#2 - we just got beat on the road and all you were concerned with, apparently all weekend, was your "business" and you're video shoot when you got home

#3 - you did nothing on Saturday to contribute to your team, and then because of poor decision making, you did harm to it on Saturday night

participating in college athletics isn't a right. it is the responsibility of the student athlete to refuse opportunities like these

I was wondering when this stuff would catch up to him. It's fine to make some raps, but he's been skirting the rules lately with some of the people he's been rapping with.

I kid, couldn't resist. Seriously though I used to get into the same bar for free because I knew the bouncers.

Athletes can give "benefits" to students; for example I have sat in "player" seats for free at games as a friend of a player. When these kids are admitted to a bar for free, couldn't it be a benefit of a personal relationship? Not just because they are an athlete?

As was said in a previous post, NCAA is a sham.

He should just go to Pearl and have him lie that this happened or that he even knows who Swiperboy is. Not a real problem.

I don't know who, but somebody in our athletic department needs to take their head out of their ass and stop this crap from going on. The biggest waste of money ever is on anyone's salary in our athletic director's office from top to bottom.
