So a couple thoughts after series:

This should prove home field should never be decided in an all star game.

Cards may go down as worst ws champs ever.

Game 6 was entertaining, but was so poorly played/managed hard to call it an all time great game.

Overall it was fun to watch till game 7 when ump decided who he wanted to win

Thought the strike zone, for both teams, was extremely inconsistent throughout the series.

As always, baseball's postseason is a crapshoot. The best two teams go out in the first round and a team that squeezed in on the last night of the season wins the whole thing. Which is a big part of what makes it great.

Hats off to fans of the Cardinals, the best organization in the long history of the National League.
