3 weeks ago the volsnation is calling for his head... This week he beats the #11 team in the country of the united states against the coach that didn't recruit him from his home state.

All the while putting his team on his back with a long bomb setting up the game winning FG, not to mention earlier running 15+ yards and lowering his shoulder into a Cock.

Proud of Worley for dealing with all the criticizement earlier this year and coming up with the win, proud of all our fans for continuing supporting him. I consider him an upgrade from Taylor bray and look forward to seeing him continue to improve week in and week out.

I've got to hand it to Butch---he stuck with Worley when all the Monday Morning Quarterbacks wanted him gone. Kid hung in there and made some tough throws---got smacked on more then a few plays but he didn't have any turnovers. He showed great poise and toughness.

He has a long way to go still. How many of his incompletions were because of him throwing lawn darts or aiming for invisible receivers?

1. Reword one of your sentences.

2. I really hope you didn't mean Taylor.

3. Worley has a looong way to go to be considered an upgrade from Bray.

To the other poster, had Bray had this defense they never would've lost a game last year.

Aren't we glad of that

He also put a couple of the deep passes to North right on the money while under heavy pressure. North wouldn't have caught the one hander had Worley not put the ball right where he did.

At the end of the day the "lawn darts" aren't what matter. He made the crucial passes while being put on the ground the whole game and didn't turn it over. He led his team to a victory.

It's amazing what you can do when you have a defense that doesn't give up 30+ in every big game. Credit to Worley for making plays and not making big mistakes but lets not get carried away.

Johnny Utah (Worley) got it done when the game was on the line. His toughness is undeniable. I just wish he would keep it on the read option at least once or twice a game to keep the defense honest.

Worley is a blue collar QB. Takes care of the ball and grinds out games. Drives me crazy sometimes but he is very deserving of respect.

let's get realistic on Worley.

NOTE: I LOVE THAT WE WON...but we can still realize there are issues.

Worley's stats are very average and if you take away the 2 incredible catches by North, they are downright pathetic.

You don't get to pick out bad plays and subtract. They all count. If you want to go that route, change half the super bowl wins.
Shaws passing numbers were pathetic yesterday.

ok, then his numbers are downright average. Just check the season stats.

The throw to Blanc was late and inaccurate as can be. Cost the team 7 points.
