Worley or Peterman?

I appreciate all the posts. I am ashamed if I came across as saying Worley isn`t a good QB. I think he could be great and he`ll get his chance. I was merely unimpressed with his performance, albeit under extreme duress,in game situations vs SEC powerhouses. Peterman may fit Jones` system, but Worley has more experience and possibly more accuracy. I can not wait till O&W game! LET`S ALL PACK NEYLAND! GO VOLS!

Its a little early to predict this considering we have nothing on peterman except high school film. Seems like the backup QB is always everyones favorite.

What's so impressive about Worley? He is a little small, not a huge arm, and can't run.

Not exactly a great fit for CBJs offense.

I know he was thrown to the wolves, but that isn't a reason why he should start

Worley is at least 6'3". Maybe 6'4". He's not a small guy.

I always wanted TN to take the entire 2nd team offensive and teach practice them hard to do a totally different offense like the wishbone. Then every now and then you call a change up, bring in the wishbone and probably force their defense to burn a time out with a WTF expression on their faces. Plus they would have to practice for more than one look and this would distract them. Then I would take some 3rd stringers and have them work on trick plays exclusively. Keep um guessing I say.

Interesting idea, until you put one of those wrinkles in a game and someone blows it up like Clowney did to Michigan.

Sorry if you clicked expecting an analysis. I`m unenlightened on the 2 UT QBs. I was just wondering what VolNation wants to see happen. I know it will work out in the spring and summer, but who do yall see as the next QB? does anyone have a comparison of their stats from high school? If so,plz include their opp. win pct! I know Worley played with CP in SCar. Peterman was in Fla.... Worley has sucked on the field so far. What do you guys see playing out over the next 8 months? Will Worley or Peterman or ??? get the nod vs. A.P.???? GO VOLS!!!

My money would be on Worley winning the job. I think he will be a really good quarterback when given a full and proper opportunity. But it sounds like Peterman could really fit into what this staff wants to do offensively, so I guess it wouldn't be that surprising if he ends up being the guy at the end.

Either way I think we have two quality options here. Not a horrible problem to have.

***Also, just a writing tip to you Webbvol... You don't want to begin a thread apologizing about your topic. It makes people think that whatever you're about to write is not important, or that you aren't informed, even if you are. Write confidently. This is a great thread topic. Better than most on here.
