I didn't think any of US were in charge of that. :) Wouldn't know it to read this board. After you called me a liar the other day for recounting a thread and several posters that expressed a willingness to trade a losing season for a win against Florida, I had decided to not respond or comment on any of your posts. Always had a little fun with our back and forth , but you've gotten a little sour lately. Not designed for a reaction.

Easily the worst analogy ever written on VN. How is the guy at the top, winning championships every year supposed to "make progress"? Who else didn't make progress this year?...Belichick? Warren Buffet? Bill Gates?

Liar is a strong word! I said it wasnt true. Lol I feel you though. Tbh I just don't think people actually believe what they said about trading 1 Fl win for 11 losses. I apologize for that :hi:

Agree Cat. I don't think anybody who said they'd prefer to go 1-11 as long as the one win was vs Florida really meant it.

I'm one of the biggest critics ever regarding Tennessee not being able beat UF for the last 4 decades.....but even I in no way would ever take that deal. I'd much rather trade the L to Florida, annually if necessary, for an SECe "title" and chance to play in the SECCG, because it's far better and far more important for the program. I think those statements by other VNers were only hyperbole.

Ok. But was I lying that it was stated? The whole scenario of a fanbase trading wins for losses isn't based in reality anyway.

Don't hate Butch, but seriously question his ability to coach us to championships. Nothing to do with hating Butch, everything to do with loving the Vols.

I have questions too but I don't whine and complain about it EVERY day like some of these dudes on here. He either wins or he's gone. Why ***** about him every single day? Like I said, some of you guys are just plain pathetic.

For better or worse, message boards do affect opinions, including the opinions of some decision makers. May only be a straw or two on the back when considered in totality but at the end of the day it's one straw that breaks the camel's back.
