Texas Tech has a first year coach, brought in 7 players from the portal to have a team. Sometimes it seems we don’t have a very good game plan just attack everyone the same. We were bullied and responded terribly. Maybe I don’t understand college basketball but I can see when you’re not prepared.

Tx Tech is pretty talented. They will have 2-3 guys off this roster get drafted.

The odds of making an open three aren’t really affected that much by the prior results. It would be insane to eliminate make your team eliminate one of the ways to add points in a close game.

TN hit 40% of their 3s after starting out 2-29. Continuing to shoot them was the correct call.

All the empty possessions because of missed three's did nothing but put the team in a deficit they had to climb back out of. I'd take points any day besides an empty possession with the opponent more often than not scoring on the other end.

They also had drives to the rim blocked and short shots in front of the rim miss. Most of the 3s weren’t as closely defended as the attempts in the paint. Where were the points to be taken? The more that the 3s were missed the more TT’s defense defended the paint. The opponent wasn’t scoring very often either.

Crazy thing is Tennessee beat Kentucky at TBA that year 78-77. Also, crazy but Tennessee eclipsed the 100 mark in 2 SEC games that year.

Wade and Holly are very similar, imo. Over a decade as assistants that were the good cop to Crum and Pat's ass chewing/bad cops. Plus, they both could recruit, just couldn't handle being the main man/woman
