Pulp Fiction? You gotta be kidding.

I'd like to add The Forgotten to this list. I'd like to forget that I have seen it.

I liked the one where they were hunting him. Was it called "The Most Dangerous Game?" I know that was the short story it was based upon.

I would like to do that with Gallion! The ending would be different though. He would have to die.

bowling for colombine was a really good movie.

i am not against guns, but every story has two sides.

:beer:

I don't think that was necesarilly against guns, just more of an explanation of violence in our culture. I was suprised that Michael Moore was capable of documentaries that are complete opposites;

BFC was an excellent and well-backed examination of our society while Fahrenheit 9/11 was a terrible, exploitive and self-serving pile of garbage.

After the success of Roger and Me and BFC, I think Moore got a little full of himself for Farenheit 911. He went from having a point of view to being a pure propagandist.

Pulp Fiction, Lawnmower Man and anything with Jim Carey!

Pulp Fiction?!?!?? Wow. I'd have to say Pulp fiction is easily one of the best movies I've ever seen. The concept of the film and storyline was an incredible work by Tarentino. A lot of films have since tried to copy it, but most aside from his later films have failed miserably.

Samuel L. Jackson's speech in the resturant at the end of the film is one of the best written scenes I've ever seen. His acting in the movie was exceptional, and IMO, the only person close that year was Gary Sinese in Forrest Gump. Jackson was nominated for an Oscar for this film as Best Supporting Actor in 1994. However, Landau won it for Ed Wood. In all, the film got 7 Oscars nods, winning 2, and won Best Film at Cannes.

Yep... hence the line with Bruce Willis saying they are headed down to Knoxville. Next time I see you it will be on Tennessee time... which leads to the watch storyline expansion.

I have to agree that Anchorman was one of the worst movies I've seen in awhile. The thing about Will Ferrell... he's either hilariously funny or completely stupid, there's not much middle ground with him. I forced myself to watch Anchorman in the theatre. I laughed maybe once or twice, but that's about it. Quite a few people walked out as I recall. I was quite surprised and very disappointed.

I thought Corky Romano was funny. The part where he fights for the coke with the dog and then has to give a speech to the kids is one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

I thought Corky Romano was completely terrible. But I thought Anchorman was pretty funny. If you don't laugh at the hard-on scene, something is wrong with you.
