Worst performance by a Tenn team ever.

Can't make changes at the half to stop #7 . flagged for mistakes that are taught in pee wee league. Throw in Banks with Martinez. Unemployment line. Mizz has held the whole game. Not a flag. Bring on Basketball I've seen enough.
Lol. This isn’t even top 10 worst performances ever. Put down the crack pipe.

And what about the 3 turnovers and being held to 7 points.
True. But it's hard to get into offensive flow when your offense touches the ball once in the first quarter. That set the tone for the rest of the game where we could not get off the field on defense the whole day - Banks either did not try or did not know how to make any adjustments to prevent 2 players beat our entire defense. Offense had to play from behind most of the game and this offense definitely is not built to do that (we saw the same thing against Florida this year).

Drink may have done a better job so far rebuilding the Missouri program on solid ground than Heupel has at Tennessee, granted Missouri does not play Alabama every year, but they do play Florida and Georgia and the rest of the division just as Tennessee does,

Last year was a flash in the pan for Heupel carried by the excellence of Hendon Hooker, however, if the Florida game or the Alabama game go 10 more minutes last year, Tennessee is probably 8-4 last year as well, the shortcomings with Banks and Martinez are damning and their responsibilities have not improved measurably to merit either of them being on staff next year at all.

Heupel needs to build out a defensive staff capable of being competitive in the SEC, Martinez should never have been hired, fans had seen that slop under Coach Butch, and build out an offensive program that is not dependent on big play capability, as the better defensive coordinators can defend that and eventually all the SEC defensive coordinators will be able to,

This disaster in Columbia is down right embarrassing for Heupel and his $9 million a year salary, the defense has been a problem since he first put a Tennessee team on the field.

Georgia may post 50 in Neyland Stadium next week, we'll just have to wait and see.

This one is on Banks. Never adjust and let one player beat you single handily. Never pulled Herring at any point despite him looking like he was running with concrete boots on the whole game. Absolutely inexcusable to not adjust and make another player beat you at the very least. A D2 midget RB had 300 yards of offense against us.

I'm not sure if this was an all time top 10 bad performance. There are so many to choose from over the years. I do know that the final field goal attempt was a top 10 all time head scratcher decision. It was fitting that we missed it.

That is ridiculous. Like the 62-24 and 66-24 wins no longer matter? Or the fact that Tennessee won the Orange Bowl?

.... and Hendon Hooker was not some generational talent. He was a transfer who had been benched at Virginia Tech. If anything, Hooker's success was a product of Heupel's system; not the other way around. This post is the kind of childish, reactionary garbage which is all too typical of this forum.

And Tenn led both Florida and Alabama most of those games.

Whatever TN’s travel prep is, really needs to change. A completely different team on the road vs at home.

Ahhh I’m a TN fan for the long run… the depth is being tested now with injuries. At least the subs are scholarship guys now and not walk ons anymore ha.

Ever? Lol.
Yeah I think this guy must have only started watching like in the last 2 years.... over the last decade, I can think of at least 10 other games way worse. The team did not play well but we also had some really bad luck and weird plays. That one scramble from the end zone and the fumble by Milton were both like WTF situations. Some of the plays especially the fumbles were kinda like wtf, who do you blame? It wasn't our day. As much as this sucks I can live with a 9-4 season (bowl win).
