Wow I am suprised about all the negative posters here.

The only way this sounds better, is if Winston Churchill delivered it in the form of a speech. Which, for obvious reasons.....will never happen.

If someone can't understand this post, then they should tarred and feathered.

You overestimate the cognitive skills of “thekicker33”.

I like Pearl, and I'll be the first to say that he has done some very good things with the basketball program. Since he has been on the Hill, he has recruited well, he has fielded teams that can run and gun and win tons of games, and he has brought energy and enthusiasm back to UT basketball.
Which, to draw a comparison to the pro game, makes him Don Nelson or Mike D'Antoni. My problem is that people try to pass him off as Larry Brown or Pop.

Thanks! I'm given facts, you're given opinions. In other terms, if this was a judged debate, I'd win easily!

Haha you do realize that this would make me "infer" that you are giving them opinions and they are giving you facts.

Sure he knows that, he's a former sports writer. That line reminds me of Happy Gilmore, "So you eat pieces of ____ for breakfast?"

I like the Don Nelson comparison, because they both sweat like like runaway refugee's.

John Wall has a lot of things going for him, but he has the best body control I have ever seen from a college freshman. When he is getting fouled and falling to the ground, he still takes shots that look good rather than looking like a prayer. He reminds me of D Wade a good bit.

But orangenyc is the one flinging that allegation without proof so sweating profusely or referring to Pearl as a refugee could qualify under his asinine definition.

No one is making a crack about his nose or love of money or anything else traditionally antisemitic, but I am uncomfortable with all the discussion of his skin color. If people called Tubby Smith "Tanning Bed" we would not be happy with it.

My cousin is Jewish and his skin is much darker than mine. He would be offended if someone acted like he was in a tanning bed all of the time when the fact is that his skin absent tanning is just darker.

MHF just does not understand.

Also, he is still following me around I see posting replies to my posts when he has been aware for some time he is on my ignore list.

Must be a sad life.
He only puts in 10 hours or so a week at his law firm.
And it shows, he's probably the 15th best attorney on this board alone.

What does your cousin's religious choice have to do with his skin color?

BPV, it should be clear given that we have different skin colors that he is ethnically Jewish and like Pearl not of the lightest skin Ashkenazi variety of Jews.

Those don't sound too far off, although I really don't watch enough of the NBA to really judge.

If I were drawing a comparison up to this point, I might choose Marty Shottenheimer--lots of flash, big regular season record, but unable to find postseason success.

Its like a broken record. They never read the forum threads in the first place, obviously. Somehow, they keep on escaping from their village.

Ouch. your talking to the same fans that have witnessed UT's drubbing of UK in football for 25 yrs in a row. They must know something.
