To Miss State at home? I highly doubt it. They have a way of answering the bell. I would love to see them collapse. It never happens. Here's the thing. You can't change coordinators every one , two years and stay on top..Yes I know Sabans got away with it for a long time but sooner or later this will bite your ass.
I still expect to see them lose again..Their in a funk and a second loss might come Saturday.
What did your friend mean, exactly? Did he lay out in detail what it was that put Saban on a different level?
Listen to the beginning of Josh Pate's show tonight. He talked about it. Bama won't just suddenly collapse. It'll happen gradually. We might look back on this in 5 years and say this is where it started.
Ah, thanks.Saban’s level of detail and preparation and how he doesn’t try to wow recruits like other coaches. Other coaches are trying to sell their program to recruits, Nick pretty much tries to get the recruit to sell themselves to him. He was the only coach who told my friend’s son “we’ll continue to evaluate you and see if you might be a good fit for what we do here”. Every other coach is out there making promises of stardom. Not Nick. Crazy thing is how effective that pitch is with the right kid. My friend’s son now wants to go there.

Alabama should have lost to Auburn last year. Their offense was terrible in that game. It was an early Christmas present from Bryan Harsin. So what happens the very next week? They dominate Georgia from start to finish in the SEC Championship Game. Their offense suddenly turned into the '07 Patriots. That's just how this works.
The comment from a Bama player about them having anxiety for this game……that comes from Saban. He was worried about this game, and that caused the team to worry. Mark it down, he’s gone in less than 3 years. The job has finally gotten to him.
lolI'm telling you one or two more losses and the wheels will fall off that program. I don't think I've ever seen our former players talk about current players like this.

It is a testament to good coaching that Alabama is always at their best after a loss. They will blow the doors off Mississippi State on Saturday.Agree. Losses or near losses have always seemed to refocus Saban and the team to play up to their potential. I think the difference this year is that they don't have good O and D coordinators. I look for both of them to be replaced next year. Their defense fell off when Pruitt left and Offense hasn't looked as good since Sark left.
Yes, but they still have the #1 rated class for 2023. I would love to see Alabama fade... and it will happen eventually - just not under Saban. I think some of you guys are kicking dirt on them prematurely.NIL money is creating a talent parity that poor little Nicky () never had to deal with before.
One loss won't effect that recruiting class. A loss to lane, Brian Kelly or the pirate might. Not throwing dirt on bama but bama fading won't happen overnight.Yes, but they still have the #1 rated class for 2023.
