Warren will be a receiving threat this year and was at times last year. Fant is a solid receiver for being our jumbo TE.

Any idea of timelines for him? Besides the RB that was visiting, any ideas of other transfers? I haven’t seen much news, but it seems like we want 1 more DL.

Hey we can hope! Can you imagine how filthy this offense would be with those guys and the rotation we could use! But yes I agree with you, I think Addison shows interest in us but knows he is 99% already sold on going to USC.

I hate the term tampering. We all know that everyone is contacting kids before they go into the portal. Wes and Ryan said this in a (I believe it was the Bru McCoy commitment) podcast on 247. Most guys who go into the portal (if they are smart) already pretty much know where they are going before putting their names in the portal. They either use handlers, high school coaches, friends, other guys they met during their initial recruitments to put “feelers” out there so they know where they could go. They also said that for a lot of these guys, you are kind of out of the running if you don’t get into contact and setup a visit within the first 12-24 hours after they enter the portal.

Exactly. Can’t look it as 6 WR, it’s 2 Xs, 2 Ys, and 2 Zs, each with a specific role and skill set. If you have 4 Xs, 2 Ys, and 0 Zs, you have problem.

Apparently that's a significant part of their plan now it sounds like. Fill the rest up with one year guys and be able to take an extra large class next season if/when the 25 limit is waived for the next couple years and only the 85 limit matters.

They still believe there are a hoarde of 3 year stud unicorns sitting out there just waiting.

Cold take: there are not.

We fill up the remaining spots or we simply lose em. That would be...not smart. Better take some guys and he seems pretty high on such a limited list.

Exactly and people act like we are a defensive school lol. Offense is clearly going to be night and day better. Year in and year out. Might as well stack with offensive talent and have an elite offense. Which is very well what it might be this year. Top 5 easy
