Pass IMO. Only one good year, two years ago. Coming off a knee injury.

And Holiday,Calloway, and Hyatt all looked good in the spring. Adding McCoy.

We have more important holes to fill.
Same trio looked good last spring. Hyatt looks the part but two years in and he still just looks the part.

What has calloway or holiday proven in heupels system that says they are better than this kid? Just curious, dont get me wrong i like their potential also but just had to ask. His best yr was with Heupel.

It was the first year in a new offense where velus and Tillman were relied on mostly, Hyatts gained 20 and admitted he didn't handle things maturely, very good odds you'll see his natural talent maximized this year

Would love nothing more than for Hyatt to put it all together. He’s incredibly gifted physically. It’s between the ears for him

Saw a 247 (national so...grade of slaw) tweet earlier saying our biggest portal needs were WR/RB/OL.

Maybe just me, but I feel like DB and LB are much more imminent needs. Pieces of the offense feel pretty replaceable due to the scheme. Not saying to pass up on a BIG time WR/RB/OL.

Bru would be a nice add. But 2 WRs seems excessive in this offense that creates WRs out of thin air. Jmo
Honestly if we just got Bru and spent the rest towards Defense from the DL, LB, DB so we could have a rotation to keep the D fresh with minimal drop-off I'd be happy.

Would take him over Bru. Less head case potential, more production, played under Heupel, great fit for what we lost and what we need- outside receiver, deep threat, good YAC. Good speed
This is a very underrated line of thinking. It’s 50/50 that McCoy ever plays a down here.

I like 5 star ceiling and 4 star floor of Bru over 4 star ceiling and 3 star floor of this guy, not hate, just a gut feeling

What did Velus, Payton, or Tillman show prior to last year?

It’s a WR friendly offense. Eventually you have to give young guys a shot.

Guess it comes down to what you’re more comfortable with - receiver depth or linebacker/secondary help?
