We finish in top 5-6 again (different qb) it will be hard to keep coach. Too many rich college programs out there wanting what we have.

So you don't think we are rich enough or prestigious enough to be a destination school for a coach?

Now if he is the type of coach that likes "rebuilding programs" that have tanked, maybe ... but he may be the type of coach that likes to win.

Josh Heupel isn’t going anywhere. He loves Tennessee and with the success he is having here, why would he leave? We are taking back our place as one of the top tier jobs to have in college football. We should be more worried about keeping our coordinators in place as people will be trying to take them from us.

If Heupel has continuing success here, I have no doubt that the alumni with Brinks truck type bank accounts will back the truck up because it looks like he has laid a foundation for many successful years to come and if he is happy he will stay.
Doubt he would want to start over again and where would he find a more passionate( or better looking) fanbase?

It would be crazy to think he wouldnt listen to Oklahoma if Venebles got fired. I dont think he would ultimately leave though. He is a legend there already and i dont think he’d want to mess that up. Same reason Manning will never coach at UT. Also UT could match any offer money-wise.
