Cena's going to tie Ric Flair and become 16 time champion at Summerslam

Need a puke gif right now

He's in a love triangle with Lana and Summer Rae. I wouldn't say he's in great position right now.

Yep, he's so buried that even with Ziggler off filming a movie for a couple of weeks, I mean healing from a trachea injury, Rusev is still in the main event and still getting a story. Buried I tell ya, buried.

Taker's Macho Man impersonation could use some work tbh

like he's gonna do the Macho Man voice but he's not gonna hit us with even one oooohh yeahhhhhh

wait were the Bellas supposed to move back and let Charlotte go over the top rope and hit the floor without being caught?

If Cena adds Rollins to the buried list I don't think I could stomach to watch wrestling right now. Creative isn't making any sense.

This whole "be a cool kid and hate Cena" movement is ridiculous.

I'm just trying to figure out who Cena has buried. Let's revisit his recent feuds:

Rusev- In a love feud with Lana, Summer Rae and Ziggler. Only superstar I remember in recent memory to get spots every week, despite being out with a real injury. Ziggler is even off shooting a movie, I mean healing from a trachea injury caused by Rusev, and Rusev still main evented.

Lesnar- Became champ, headlined WrestleMania, headlined Battleground and is about to headline SummerSlam

The Shield- Reigns is in a big feud with Bray Wyatt and is the supposed actual future of the company. Ambrose has been featured each week and involved in some good storylines of his own (you could make the case he's not being used enough though). Rollins, well, he's only the WWE champion.

Bray Wyatt- Always loses, but he's supposed to be a bad guy (for now) and bad guys usually end up losing feuds. Gets the longest promo every Monday night.

Kevin Owens- Remains to be seen, but Cena gave a fresh out of NXT star prominent play for three months.

So, in summary, Cena definitely buries everybody.

If you think Rusev is in a good spot right now then you're crazy. The problem with Cena going over in that fued was what was gained by Cena or The WWE by giving him Rusev's first pinfall/submission lost? Why not give it to somebody who could use the rub to help advance their career?

How did Cena help Lesnar? He had just beaten the Undertaker at Wrestlemania and broken the streak.....he was already getting a super push.

Cena fueded with the shield like 3 years ago. To say he's the reason they have there spots now is just ridiculous.

Bray Wyatt lost a lot of momentum when he lost his fued with Cena.

Kevin Owens is tbd but he should have walked Battleground US Champ.

The problem is that young heels keep getting built up then they get fed to Cena. Cena doesn't need to keep winning every fued he is in. He needs to start putting people over to help build towards the future of the WWE.

reading is hard. No one ever said Cena helped the careers, the point is he didn't bury them. Rusev got put in a bad spot because he broke his foot, not because anything Cena did. Cena winning the US Title brought back legitamicy to the US Title. If you want to deny that, go ahead, live in your delusional world. Heels don't win feuds. It's never been a wrestling move. Ever.

How did Wyatt lose momentum win Cena beat him, but not when Bryan beat him or Taker beat him or (insert every other Wyatt feud here) beat him? How did he lose momentum if he still gets the longest promo every night, has been in all but one PPV this year and still has his fireflies every time the lights go out? Again, if you want to live in your delusional world, please enjoy it.

As for Lesnar, it's just yet another feud where Cena's opponent went on and continued getting significant air time and a significant, weekly role in storylines. But again, please continue living in your delusional world. The Rusev/Russia/US Title/no one can beat me gimmick was beyond stale. It had beens stale for months. Rusev is a great heel, but having him pretend to be unbeatable and a Russian force was Iron Sheik all over again and no one cared for it. Also, Cena is still the driving force behind WWE's largest audience BY FAR. So, sorry your delusional world isn't Vince's biggest worry.

The "problem"with Cena is that there's 5 hrs of live TV and a PPV every month to fill. Top faces have never lost feuds, but feuds used to last 3-6 months instead of 1-2 PPV cycles. We'll see Cena in as many angles this year as a guy like Jerry Lawler had in 4-5 years.

imo that's why they were slightly helped by having the roster split

And you gotta think that the Cena Effect with him holding the US Title and rebuilding interest/prestige in that belt is playing into how they're purposely not doing much with Rollins as the heavyweight champ right now. I was watching some of the Attitude Era Raws over the weekend and Stone Cold vs. The Rock feuding over the IC belt was much more interesting than Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker for the heavyweight belt. Pretty soon, WWE could have Cena drop the US belt to someone and there's a decent number of guys that could feud over it and further their character and fan interest.

Or you could just say that the WWE is allowing Cena to bury the heavyweight belt.
