The only thing Tyler and talent have to do with each other is they both start with a T.

Like his character or not he tore the house down in NXT in plenty of matches. Lol

And Curtis Axel just cut the worst promo is the history of promos that it turned into the best promo ever.

I never saw Breeze tear anything down in NXT lol.

I finally got around to watching Raw around midnight and I thought it was a very good show.

Shane has brought a level of excitement that seems to have infected the entire roster! IMO

Every Raw since his return has been pretty good!

We got SZ making his 2nd or 3rd main roster debut hopefully it sticks this time!

So did Y2J put over a guy who was already over or did he turn heel??? That whole thing seemed weird to me!

I'm actually interested where this Lana/Brie thing is headed!

Does Bray Wyatt now want in on the Championship?

Realizing that the HHH-Steph Authority was stale 16 months ago when Dolph "single handedly" ended their run (for like 3 days) made me realize that 90% of my unwillingness to just sit and watch RAW is all because of that. I don't understand how creative doesn't understand you can't push that same storyline for this long

It never ceases to amaze me how WWE always circles back to the horrible boss" angle that they've been using since Steve Austin's first title run.

How can they circle back to it when it's been the only main theme for years now?

There are so many good elements: New Day, Ambrose, Diva Revolution, Lesnar, I like how they've brought AJ Styles along, the potential of Wyatt if they'd just legitimize him, etc

But I'm so over the bad boss angle that I can't sit and enjoy the show from start to finish.

I love this logo is just me or does it have an old school WWF look to it!?

Agreed. That's why it's so refreshing to watch NXT, where the boss (Regal) plays a very minor role and the feuds center on the freaking talent the way they should.

I'm kinda new to this, so sorry if this is the wrong link, but I'm starting a petition to get Knoxville a wrestlemania. Please sign it if you would like one.

I love the enthusiasm! But it ain't gonna happen. Knoxville is considered a C level city by WWE. That pretty much means we only get Smackdowns/Live Events and the occasional RAW. We'll never get a PPV, let alone a Wrestlemania. The best we can hope for is Nashville maybe. The biggest problem is all the big cities are tripping over each other to host a Wrestlemania. It is more fiscally beneficial for a city to host Wrestlemania than a Super Bowl or the Olympics in terms of tourism dollars.

I thought they said Knoxville was a B/B- city and Nashville was a low A city? I've clearly forgotten the ratings system they did forever ago.

I could've been wrong. I just know that Knoxville is in either the lowest tier or second lowest tier.

I have a hard time buying that.

It's based on tourism dollars for the city. For the Super Bowl, most people fly in the day of or day before the game and then leave on Monday. That's two hotel nights per person maybe. As far as the Olympics, I read somewhere that the IOC takes a large percentage of hotel dollars during the games.

Edit: Was wrong about that last part. That's FIFA that takes money from hotels during the World Cup. The issue with the Olypics is all the money that has to go into infrastructure repair and facilities for the games before hand. Even with the tourism money coming in a city has a hard time breaking even when hosting an Olympics.

those Olympics figures are Olympics only. But after the Olympics, those stadiums, arenas, fields, etc are used over and over and become a tourist staple. If you're going to include that in the earnings from just the Olympics, then Wrestlemania has to add in the cost of building Jerry Land.

As for the Super Bowl, that's just a lie. I dunno who made that study, but it's not true.

I can't remember but Knoxville can't even get a RAW per year. Pretty sad. But the reason WM would never be at Neyland is, despite of large venue for large attendence, is not because people wouldn't come. People will come from all over the world regardless, its just the city itself. It doesn't have other attractions people can plan a vacation around.

Nashville continues to trend up.

Wrestlemania might be a little far fetched, but another major PPV down the road soon wouldn't surprise me.

You really believe that WM attendees act differently than Super Bowl attendees as far as length of stay? I'd bet that the average Super Bowl attendee has about double or triple the income of a WM attendee.

And you can't put a price tag on all the positive, free network advertising for the city and the prestige of being a Super Bowl city.
