WWE Thread III

The only Marine movie that made it to the silver screen was Cena's original. I wish WWE would make fun of itself and let someone bust Miz for being in crappy movies.

I could see that happening if they ever shut down WWE studios. That division is hemorrhaging money

If Vegas made odds of this turning into a free for all, you'd have to put in roughly $3,781,402 just to make $20 if you were to bet that it's going to happen.

2 hours and 45 minutes of tonight rocked. The Rollins/Reigns bit and a lame, go nowhere Main event. I just don't understand how they could nail so much of the show except the two pieces that were supposed to be the most highlighted.

Also, Owens proved my point again when yelling at Jericho: "It's your stupid move, it's not my fault it didn't work". While hilarious, just continues to make him less of a heel.

The main event was okay, but they should have closed with Cena's return for sure.

I'm just now watching. Seth Rollins' will-he-won't-he felt exactly like the return of Jericho before he fought Punk when they had to find a way to get him boos.

I don't think you have to turn Charlotte heel. I think you can have Sasha work face, win the belt at SummerSlam, then beat the hell out of Charlotte until it's uncomfortable. Then Bayley saves the day. Then you can leave Charlotte as a quasi-heel while THE BOSS is back in town.

like...I think all of y'all have just reacted the EXACT way WWE wanted. What's the only way to get Seth Rollins to not be cheered? Have him not talk and have him not give the fans what they want. Do that enough and the fans will start booing.

worked back then...I expect it to work again

I don't think WWE wanted me to flip over to the NBA game

Monday Night Raw was in competition with Game 7 of the Western Conference finals. WWE wanted you watching any bit of their programming that they could. They managed to get you to stop watching a Game 7 to see what happened with Seth Rollins, and in doing so, it set up a scenario in which Rollins would start to be booed.

Yeah, I think they got to a desired result.

no. I still don't buy it. RAW was already going to be my primary entertainment for the evening. That caused me to miss two segments that I quickly rewound and fast forwarded through just to get highlights. And there's a dozen other ways for him to get boos

Are there? Anything Rollins would have done in that segment would have been cheered.

I think Ambrose wins money in the bank and cashes in later that night during the world title match and pins rollins to win the title.....

Just no. I feel like you're trolling. You know there's countless ways to heel. Jericho got heat on himself against Reigns

A couple things. First, Rollins isn't Jericho. Rollins can't verbiage his way to boos. Second, Jericho didn't return against Reigns. A Jericho return would be getting cheered like crazy no matter what he did...just like his return against Punk in '12.

The only two ways Rollins was getting booed is doing what he did or walking to the ring talking smack about the Packers. They went the more creative way, imo.

The problem, of course, is that Rollins is being booked as a heel in the first place. He should be a huge baby face right now, then we wouldn't be arguing over the awkward ways creative is having to use to draw heat.

Wouldn't that be the kind of inexplicable storyline switch that people constantly complain about? Why would he be a face when he spent the past two years tearing apart the Shield, kissing up to the Authority and playing a delusional, cowardly heel champion? For him to suddenly show back up and say "I love everybody. Now cheer." would be a little insulting.
