My issue with the Sting match was the notion that suddenly Nash and Hall and Hogan were friends with Sting when most of the WCW after the NWO appeared featured any combination of those 3 opposing Sting. Adding to that the idea that everyone knows Nash and Hall are great friend with HHH and it just fell flat to me
what's accomplished by Sting winning?
It's just a respectful thing to do and the fans wanted to see him win. There was just no reason for him to lose other than petty "I hate the fact you wouldn't come here until now" reasons. It just annoys me slightly when it's painfully obvious stupid politics get in the way of what should be done and what makes sense sometimes. It's just a criticism.
I don't watch for politics, but its hard not to notice said politicts and it can get in the way of enjoyment at times for me.

Sting is my all time favorite wrestler and it didn't bother me one bit that he lost, i doubt he even cares all that much.
