Disagreed with a strike 3 call, bumped the home-plate ump several times, (inadvertently) spit in his face, etc. Suspension incoming as is video.

Yadi's pitchers are going to get about a 2 inch strike zone from him in the future, way to go.

The look on the ump's face afterwards was pretty damn funny, though.

7 games, will be reduced to 5 on appeal. Maybe 10 to 7.

Not so much of "spitting" as salavia flying from mouth when yelling. Kudos to blue for a nice acting job though.

That said, looked like a strike to me. I don't know what he got so mad about. Must've not been giving Cards pitchers that call all night. I didn't watch.

The only thing I can think of having not watched the game is that the ump was calling it slightly different for the Cards pitchers. It is still a classless way to react.

That is exactly what the issue was. Still gotta control yourself.
I love how some are calling him classless because of this. If that was classless then half the people in cooperstown are classless.

Still Bush league. No matter who did it in the past.

I never said Molina was classless just that it was a classless way to react. He could have yelled without bumping the man repeated.

Did the ump tap him on the leg with a bat before the pitch? If so, completely defensible response.
