Wouldn't it be plausible to pay 25K for a national package if it included HS players too? Just saying.

??? They're all high school players??

Oh. You mean if the package included both footage and the high school players themselves. See, that is plausible. And, in fact, that looks to be what's going on here. Problem is, it's illegal.

I'm finding the allegations a tough pill to swallow due to the fact they used a university check to pay for the services. If they prove to be true the fool that signed the check should be shot. YouTube - The Apple Dumpling Gang

they saw what they thought was a loophole that no one would figured out and did it. woudln't be the first program. it's not exactly easy to give someone $25K under the table.

then it should be very easy to find many other schools who bought a similar package right? Unless you think Oregon is really onto something new in the recruiting world

the problem isn't the dollar amount paid for the recruiting service (though that smells), it's the fact he represented the recruits.

I get it but they should be able to prove it was a service offered to other schools. If not then this probably doesn't end well

There is no proof that he represented anyone.

Right, because I'm sure that guy didn't provide info on anyone that signed elsewhere.

I wonder how much money he got from schools that he didn't send kids to. I'm going to guess his services were considerably "cheaper" then.

Plausible enough but Phil Knight wipes his azz with 25k...just reach into the ashtray and hand the fool his chump change.

they paid a trainer involved with a 5* player $25k and one of Kelly's former players $3,745 and nothing is awry?

also interesting that the payments were made "shortly after Seastrunk signed with Oregon in 2010."

The Athletic Deparment thinks nothing is.

what would be her motivation to lie about this? screw the team her son plays for? the only rational motivation would to lie would be to cover up HER taking money and that isn't exactly a better outcome than oregon.
