Yahoo Report: Oregon paid Lache Seastrunk's Handler

Your point?
Droski said there was plenty of evidence - in fact there is absolutely none that is known about, and two pieces of information that are totally contrary to his claim.

When it comes out that he's right, I'll be sure to apologize. Until then, he's doing his typical non-informed bs.

My point is I'd stop acting like there is no chance of trouble, which you're doing, and realize that in a lot of these cases, especially recently, there is trouble.

You are an extraordinary liar, you know that?

There is absolutely no evidence that suggests Baron Flenory was De'Anthony Thomas' handler - none. In fact what we do have is a quote from Thomas indicating that he only knew Flenory as a camp organizer, and the knowledge that Flenory was only paid less than 4k by the Oregon athletic department - well before Thomas signed with the Ducks. Wouldn't you imagine it would take more than a few thousand dollars to pry a consensus 5* from USC?

The worst part about this is that it's obvious you just made this garbage up without bothering to check any facts for yourself.

Droski just makes things up in his head to make himself believe that the top dog in the conference is going to go down.

"Former UO coach and athletic director Mike Bellotti, however, said the amount paid to Lyles was “not as out of line as people are saying.”

“The reality is, we paid 16 or 17 thousand for California — for just one state — and you’re talking about a national service,” Bellotti said.

In his final year as head coach, 2008, the Ducks subscribed to 12 scouting services at a total cost of around $56,000, Bellotti said, adding that he confirmed those numbers with Kelly and UO recruiting coordinator Don Pellum on Friday. Bellotti said the Ducks spent about $69,000 and used 10 services in 2009, then spent about $56,000 again in 2010, on nine services."

Interesting.

Interesting.

Using those numbers, it would average out to about 4,500-6,000 dollars per service. When one man who is connected so closely with the recruitment of one player gets paid 25,000, it is liable to raise a few eyebrows.

But if you have paid 15K for one state in the past, it would most definitely be plausible to pay 25K for 22.

Ah, I just saw where the recruiting service has been offering the national recruiting package for 25k since... yesterday.

Lol at the NC game being a semi-pro event. Sad part is UT and UO will probably have punishments before AU who likely paid $200,000 for the most high profile (and heisman) player compared to the 25,000 UO spent on an also ran.

UO spent 25K for scouting, not a player.

Interesting.

"Bellotti said Kelly’s desire is to use as few as three services going forward."

It kind of makes sense that someone would get paid more for doing more work..

Oh, the poor Oregon fans! Its understandable that a program that has never won a National Title would try and buy their first.

Well, $200,000 is greater than $25,000

Shoulda negotiated with Cecil
