Yahoo Report: Oregon paid Lache Seastrunk's Handler

Duck fans are facing an NCAA 'examine'....they better start making that little "O" symbols with their hands a wee bit bigger.

If true, then OUCH. That's what you call double dippin'. Porked the mom and pimped the son. :shades:

Where's this come from? Not doubting you heard it; just curious where.

If this is true, then-- sorry OU. You're toast...

Wow, talk about over-paying? I wonder if this has anything to do with the fact that the 'AA is asking for proof of what they received for their $25,000 and maybe they can't produce any video?

Seems like it gets more and more fishy...

kelly now saying that lyles provided only names and phone numbers, but the oregon invoice shows videos. whoops. names and phone numbers for $25k? can't use google i guess.

Is anyone really surprised? I don't think we've even reached the tip on how dirty college athletics is.....

Good stuff.

"Complete Scouting Service" -- which is run out of Lyles' two-bedroom condominium with no evidence that it's registered as a business with the state of Texas

Chip Kelly, and others, became aware as they recruited Seastrunk that Lyles was involved in a personal relationship with the running back's mother.

Lyles slapped up a "2011 national package" on his website with a convenient $25,000 price tag on Friday. It didn't exist on the website 24 hours earlier.

A purchase order obtained by The Oregonian details that Lyles billed them for "Game films, Highlight film" from 22 states. And if you ask Kelly what was provided he'll tell you the Ducks received contact information for players -- "names and phone numbers."

Seastrunk's mother, for one, is miffed. "Willie said he was a trainer," Evelyn Seastrunk told ESPN.com. "Now Oregon says he's a scout? Is he on Oregon's payroll? If Willie Lyles collected $25,000 off my son he needs to be held accountable. The NCAA must find out for me. I don't know how to digest someone cashing in on my son."

I love her quote about not being able to digest someone cashing in on her son. Has she heard of the BCS?
