Yahoo Sports/Pete Thamel Article Says Coaches Expect UT to Flop at the Dance

I honestly have no idea how well we're going to do in the tournament. I don't think we're going to "flop". However, it will depend on which decides to show up any given day. Will the team who beat the brakes off of Kansas show up? Or will the team that got blown out by a terrible Kentucky team show up?

There is so much potential in our team. I know this sounds trite, but we just need consistency.

I think we put it together. We've handled non con games all year. The SEC is going to show out this week, imo.

To me without question we have the toughest bracket. I'm like a lot of you guys...clearly when we play tough defense like we can, defend the three ball, and have an average offensive output we can play with anyone. And its against my nature to say this but I don't have a ton of confidence in our abilities to do that over a two week period. MAN I HOPE IM WRONG!!!

We seem to play one good game, then one bad. The bama game was bad (second half was anyway), so we should pound the beavers (just for you mojo) then probably beat ourselves with TOs and missed jumpshots against the cowgirls.
Really, we have played 3 good games in a row. The last 5 minutes killed us in the semis, but the whistle was kind to the Bubba’s. Depth hurt us late.

Tn problems are still the same problems from the start of the season. No shooters , turnovers and goes on droughts for 4-7 minutes. If they dont have it fixed by now then they are not fixing it this week.

They averaged 9.9 turnovers per game the first 13 games. That is phenomenal, so it has not been the problem the entire time. Know what you’re talking about before commenting.

Is this the FF team? Or is that next year's team? Asking for a friend.

Early in the year our freshmen were playing as many minutes and weren’t being asked to do much. In the second half of the season with Fulky not scoring at the same pace as last year, CRB decided to load down the talented freshmen and see how far they could carry us. As freshmen tend to do, they make a lot of turnovers to go along with their many wow plays. We are turning the ball over way too much in the past month and it will likely cost us if we can’t keep it at a reasonable level

Multiple missed jump shots, no inside game, multiple turnovers, two missed free throws with the game on the line, etc., etc. Whistle be damned, we looked lost in the second half. this team is Jekyll and Hyde and been that way all season.

While our freshmen are still loose with the ball, we had at least 4 charge calls, which count as turnovers. That doesn't happen much.
