Yahoo! Sports: Saban to Texas (Rumor)

Not surprised by some of what he said, it was no secret that she wanted to come back to BR, eventually the bad mouthing began when it was evident that was never going to happen.

At least Bama got something out of it, the Dolphins were not so lucky... he set their program 5 years further back than they already were.

Think again.

I'm not saying Saban is leaving. Its still up in the air, for me. But A coach does not tell one select player that he is leaving, before everyone else knows. Now... Once Mack is gone, if Nick is going to take them job, he make tell AJ before the rest of the team. But he would not tell AJ this early on into the deal...

It was a joke, man

Please explain how Saban leaving the Dolphins set them back 5 years.

So you would rather go back futher to determine which program is most relevant and at a higher level. We may as well go back 100 years so we can make the argument that Army and Princeton are juggernaut programs.

Army and Princeton aren't the schools being discussed. Your argument is that Oregon is a better job. I disagree. But I am bias. But if you want to argue that, then do it as a whole. Not. the last decade. Or you pick Oregon's best decade and I'll pick Tennessee's. I just don't think its right to cherry pick the decades.

They were 11-5 in 2008. You said 5 years. Who's to say that Brees would have signed with them if Saban was there.

11-5 don't mean crap without a QB in the NFL. It's a QB league, lil Nicky at least knew that... it was multiple year rebuild even after the 2006 season.

He was there, Saban didn't think he was worth $10m a year after his injury. He was clearly wrong.

If Brees was a sure thing coming off that injury, 20 NFL teams would've dropped their QBs and gone after Brees. You sound like you're still pissed that Saban left LSU.

I could be wrong, but I don't think he's cherry picking. I think he's simply stating that Oregon's football program is in better shape than UT's right now. I would agree.

Brees failed the Dolphins' physical. Saban did not have the option to sign him.

Saban is different than most coaches, AJ may be the only player that he talks to.
