We are talking Programs where coaches would want to go, correct? Top programs of all time...top traditions... top selling points. They are all over the web, and Oregon doesn't make the list.
I'm pretty sure Oregon hasnt even made the list for Top 50 all time programs. You really think you can jump to the top over a few years of winning with a fancy training facility and some neon jerseys?
YOU are delusional, sir.
Kirk Herbstreit on rumors of Nick Saban coming to Texas: 'There's no chance' | Dallas Morning News
Herbstreit says there is no chance Saban goes to Texas.
The new rumor floating around tonight is that Texas boosters are planning to pay of Saban's nearly $20M debt if he signs with UTx, on top of whatever outrageous contract they throw at him.
Saban invested heavily in a Louisiana development project called Perkins Rowe about 5 years ago with friend/businessman Tommy Spinosa. Spinosa completely mismanaged his and other investors' money and now owes KeyBank $201M.
Here's a couple of links with one mentioning Saban in the deal

Say the guy who can't accept Oregon wasn't relevant until the later part of the 90's......How many NC's they got again?
So you would rather go back futher to determine which program is most relevant and at a higher level. We may as well go back 100 years so we can make the argument that Army and Princeton are juggernaut programs.
