Yeah, that's gonna help somebody trying to quit nicotine.

I thought he said he was trying to quit smoking?

Chewing is not really bad for you unless you have bad teeth. Which in that case can lead to further tooth decay which is a high indicator of short life span >>> unless you lose them early or get em pulled.

If tooth decay is a problem just go with a no sweetened snuff.

Chewing is not really bad for you unless you are worried about cancer. Snuff is not really bad for you unless you worry about getting cancer. Smoking is not really bad for you unless you worry about getting cancer.

See how that works?

Pretty sure use of chewing tobacco in the aid of smoking cessation does not cause cancer.

Did your son get his Christmas present sighted in?

Not yet but had some buddies donate a couple hundred rounds to the cause. I had to pick up some different rings for the scope and will have it installed tomorrow (off work)

Thanks for asking- and btw I really appreciate your offer on the ammo.

My kids are still too young. But I remember my first real rifle...a Ruger 10/22...I still have it. I took such good care of it it still looks new. My uncle told me when I got it that if I ever touched the metal to make sure I wiped it down will oil or I would see spots of rust...lol

Does the scope base have a picatinny rail or is it proprietary?

I forgot what rifle you bought?

3/8ths rim fire to 1" scope tube. Proprietary

It's a little savage model 64. Black on black.
This is added to his other gun (410-single shot) to start his own collection. Biggest issue he is having is looking through the scope. His eyes seem to want to work the opposite if you will.

Is he left handed?

He's Ambidextrous

But lately has stayed more to being right handed.

In that case the gun is probably just a little too long for him.

Of course set the scope back as far as it will go.

Those dam evil collapsing stocks...lol

I swear bought my 8 yr old a red ryder and the length of pull is just way too long for him. And got his little brother the littler one ... I forget the name but it is made by Daisy too. Anyway maybe try to mount a rail so you can get the scope back another inch or two. Make sure he knows he doesn't have to use the forend as designed...he just needs a good stable position...

OP
you better go back to Smoking and Drinking, if you've already smashed up a couple of cars on your second day

:)

I lol'd

It was a rough morning man- it took me a bit to get over it. All I could hear was her screaming for her baby. Luckily I hit the car on the right rear. The 2 week old baby was by the left rear door.

The cops even told me to relax. Paramedics wanted to know if I needed help. Lol.

Had a woman not paying attention and didn't see me in the dump truck until the last minute. Black ice was developing and when she slammed her brakes the slid in to a concrete barrier at the edge of the bridge causing her car to swing out in to my lane. I couldn't stop and struck her vehicle shoving her 50-60 feet down a shoulder in to a ditch through barb wire fence.

Thanks. But damnnnnnnn

I hear ya. But that incident had nothing to do with smoking. Smoking doesn't do anything except feed a nicotine fix. It makes nothing better. It changes nothing. It only feeds a fix. It doesn't make you deal. It doesn't make you deal better.

Feeding a nicotine habit does nothing but feed a habit. That's it, and that's all. You need to get that if you want to stay quit.

Assuming everyone is OK?

Thank God it was just a push and you didn't smash them into an immovable object.

Her car was totaled. But luckily everyone involved was ok.
