Though I support gay marriage, I think writing off its opponents as bigots is close-minded. Some are bigots. A lot are not.
Where does someone have the right to get married? The two issues are not even close.
If getting married was that important to them, they shouldn't have chosen to be gay, duh.You think homosexuality a choice and that marriage is a privilege. What in the hell did heterosexuals do to "earn" that privilege?
It's one thing to not go out and support it. But where is the logic in voting against it?
I'll have to check the BB but unless it controverts definitions I've looked up I don't know how it could change my view of "many". (at least in the contexts I've set forth) Doesn't mean it won't make for an interesting read though.
