Yellowstone (Paramount Network)

If I had a vote it would be Beth, her character is ruining the show and it was already teetering on the "jumped the shark" ledge.
She is Toxic there is no doubt about it.
Damaged by early events which has taken her over the top.
She is the Son that John Dutton did not have and is filling that role as a woman.
The issue is that she sometimes (mostly) goes over the top handling situations, but a man in the same role gets a pass.

It's funny how in the beginning I hated her a hoped she'd get killed off and many told me her and Rip were the two best on the show. Now I like her and Rip and everybody hates her.

Everybody loves Rip and he has murdered. Has Beth actually killed anybody? A friend told me she made Jamie kill his real father. She hasn’t really made Jamie do anything.

I vote neither .

I would hope a man wouldn't act on emotion alone.

Hell have the woman scorn. Revenge is an emotion, Protecting a homestead is not. Narcissism is a Mental illness. Messing with a Functional Alcoholic is dangerous. Self Centered and Attention feeds this woman's ego. Crazy just adds to the mix
Rip is by far the only one that can handle her so it seems.
Favorite line to date "Ok Beth, just put the Crazy aside"
Some men at times function on emotion.

Seems the writers have softened Rip a bit this season.
Take out Beth and Jamie, add a kinder- gentler Rip, then make John a knee bending centrist = cancelled show.

I like all the characters the way they are. That's what makes the show.

When in the history of women has there been a cat fight, then they become buddy-buddy with their bloodied faces?

That was super lame.

In real life, both are ready to push the other down the stairs, first chance they get.
I hope not, I want it to be like every other cat fight in the history of women.
Get ready. It's gonna happen. Just remember the operative word is "shortlived".

Also, I think it's strange that Rip killed Roarke with the snake and no one came looking for him or anything.

I’m just thinking because one of Market Equities’ top hedge fund managers suddenly went missing, foul play would be suspected.
Don’t remember him going missing. Rip walked away afterwards. No need to move the body. He was fly fishing and got bit by a poisonous snake…perfect crime. It’s not mentioned, but even if they suspected it was intentional, there was no way to prove it.

No comments after last nights episode???

Taylor Sheridan is setting it up to be Yellowstone’s final season next year, IMO.

The ranch hands separating, the cattle being infected, Duttons running out of money, and Jamie is about to impeach his dad in the season finale.

This season has been rather boring and uneventful, but hopefully it really is a calm before the final storm. I can’t imagine every character makes it out alive or without ending up in prison before the series is over.

You forgot that we also have to believe:

There's an environmentalist wacko 30 years younger than John Dutton living basically as a hooker under house arrest.
The federal government is building a pipeline . . . directly under the water supply of an Indian Reservation lol.

Star Trek had a more realistic story line than what Yellowstone has become.

It really has gone off the rails. Still watching, but eyes have rolled several times this season. Of course, several characters survived prior seasons with what would almost certainly have been likely life-threatening injuries.

I liked how the cards flipped in the midseason finale.

Jamie telling Beth about the “train station” was a turning of the tables. What Beth thought she held was a good card is now against her. If Beth goes after Jamie with the “photo”, then Jamie will bring down John and Rip with him. This gives the leverage back to Jamie.
