Yellowstone (Paramount Network)

-there’s No police. There’s no local law enforcement. Nobody lives there. Watch the episode where they explain it again. That’s why they’ve dumped bodies there for over 100 years. It’s not going to suddenly get found because someone decided to clean up the dump site. That may not be realistic but that’s how it is in Yellowstone world

-everything Jamie has done has been out of weakness. He’s the worst character on the show filled with no good guys.

-Watch the abortion episode again. There is no defending Jamie from that moment on.

-it’s basically the cowboy mafia, there are no good guys.
There are agencies that would respond to reported evidence of MASS MURDER…even in Yellowstone World. The logistics of removing every skeleton fragment scattered throughout that dumping ground yet leaving one particular one to preserve a blackmail without leaving any trace of the mass digging isn’t realistic.

Yes…he is weak. He’s also a brilliant attorney who’s headed off legal actions against the family episode one up to date.

I remember the abortion episode. Rip knocked Beth up and she turned to Jamie to fix it. He took her to a remote clinic which wouldn’t report the procedure to the most powerful man in Montana. He didn’t twirl a fake mustache and evilly laugh as he ordered them to sterilize her. That was a result of some complication during the procedure or of them botching the whole process.

All of this is moot. I’m not trying to rehab his character…it is what it is. Just relaying why it’s not feasible to do what you suggested.

Jamie is weak and has let his little head control him and he's made a few mistakes, ...he and I are the only ones ever to let that happen. Other than that I like Jamie.
I don’t like him. But he’s not the monster Beth’s (loudly) built up in her mind. She’s displaced her own demons (like being responsible for the death of her mother) into Jamie and alcohol abuse. Only reason she never committed suicide.

With the rumors of Costner wanting to leave the show, he’ll most likely get killed off. I’m
Hoping it’s in vain but Sheridan will probably give him a blaze of glory send off.

He should’ve sold the land to market equities when he had the chance.
Well now, if anyone who has watched 1883 knows that great-great-great grand-daddy J.Dutton, (played by Tim McGraw), was told by the Indian chief when 1st viewing the property that Dutton can use the land as he wished for seven generations. Now, watching 1923, Jake Dutton,( played by Harrison Ford), I'm assuming that the son of J.Dutton in 1883, who survived the original trip west was Jake.

Therefore there is no selling of the property because the current John Dutton likely knows of the original agreement and it's buried in a stack of old memoirs kept in a family chest. A lot of filling in the blanks if Jake Dutton represents the 2nd generation. Stay tuned.

Jake (played by Harrison Ford) was James brother. He arrived to take over the ranch and care for John and Spencer after their mother, Margaret (played by Faith Hill) died in a blizzard. I don’t remember what the terms of the deal between James and the Chief were, but it was a handshake deal…I doubt they used paper. If the seven generation language is accurate, it’s worth noting that Tate would be sixth generation.

Wasn't that explained in the first few minutes of the first episode? Lulz. I remember arguing before the show started who Jake was to Tim McGraw with a friend and we both found out we were both wrong really soon.

Who’s going to report it.
The only people who know about it are involved.
Jesus dude.
If there’s a problem out there that might come back to you, you don’t leave it sitting there to bite you in the ass. At this point Jamie can move one body and point fingers. But unfortunately for him he’s a moron
Edit: he’s such a moron that he’s now told the enemy (the woman manipulating him) about the train station. She no longer needs him to bring down the Duttons. What a smart guy.

He knew she’d be sterilized. He didn’t tell her. She trusted him and instead he destroyed her life at that moment. He’s straight garbage.
Can’t wait from him to die.

I honestly don’t know how they’d bring him in. The long lost Dutton maybe. Do you think he’d do a good job?
Descendant of Spencer maybe. Does sound like a stretch. Grown to respect Sheridan more than that.

I don't remember that. I thought it was something went wrong in the procedure.

I just don’t want to see a recast.
It will be interesting to see how that plays out
It would be more feasible if John Dutton wasn’t the central character. Bringing in Uncle Spencer from Austin, TX is an Ashton Kutcher in for Charlie Sheen move. At best you’re treading water. A new Sheridan show you should look forward to is the project based on Bass Reeves. He was the real life inspiration for the Lone Ranger…but way more bad ass. They couldn’t make a broad appeal show back in those days because he was black. Real excited for it.

Watch it again. He absolutely knew and didn’t tell her.

Yellowstone plot hole: Major factual error in Jamie and Beth flashback | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV | Express.co.uk

“As Jamie Dutton (Wes Bentley) realised he was actually adopted, Yellowstone also revealed why his relationship with his sister Beth has been so uncomfortable over the years.

In flashback sequences, the audience learned Jamie forced her sister to get an abortion at a Native American clinic when she became pregnant at a young age.

Worse still, Jamie also signed her up for sterilisation surgery without her permission, leading to a horrific discovery when she woke up.

While this reveal certainly explains why the pair have been so hostile towards each other over the series, fans have been questioning whether Beth’s forced procedure actually lines up with medical laws in the US.”

TS is pretty good at this. I’m hoping for the best. Because right now it’s a show I love for some reason because there are very few characters I like. Casey and maybe Rip. I waiting to see how everyone else bites it.

Edit: Gator is good people

I like Rip, Lloyd, Walker and Colby, heck I like all the bunkhouse hands. Don't like a single one of the Dutton family characters.

The show has jumped the shark IMO.

That’s a fair assessment. The bunkhouse is good but you’re right. I don’t like any of the family

@hog88
Jamie became my least favorite of the family when he leased the property and didn’t get sales value out of the lease. What a dumbass.

10 mil per, retain ownership and 90% of of ranch is untouchable doesn’t sound like a bad deal.
Really?
Stretching the value of an asset over 50 years with no adjustment for appreciation is a good deal?

Ok.
Edit: even the market equity firm CEO called it stupid and said he could have gotten sales value for the lease

There may have been some screw you in agreeing to that.
