Why would any self respecting Vol fan post anything on a recruits Facebook. I could just see my daughter if I went to one of her Facebook Friends page and posted. I would look like the biggest loser out there. I understand being a Vols fan and being excited about a recruit but get a life.

I could careless about this but if a recruit doesn't want you posting on their wall then do not accept them as a friend. You can't post unless you are a friend and if the whole thing bothers someone they can block their profile from anybody who is not their friend. Just sayin.

No...I've never befriended any player. Why would I? When did I suggest I did? Better yet, why would I even post anything about creepers stalking recruits if I was, in fact, one of them. Are you trying to...like, make fun of me? If you were, that was a pretty sad attempt.

Because people mention it in threads all the time. In fact, someone was called out for this within the last few hours. Its ridiculous and really makes the entire fanbase look pathetic. Like it or not, we're all going to be grouped together anyway.

I've got better things to do than dig on Facebook for any tidbit of info on a recruit. Thats what VN is for!

Well they shouldnt have a facebook if they dont want people doing it...i had hour conversation with matt milton the other night on facebook and he said he appreciated me talking to them...i think it shows our fan support which is a big factor in recruiting...:salute:

Well, I'm happy for you.

He is, afterall, already a student and player on the team. You didn't try and persuade him to come to UT. I can see a big difference in that. Not something I'd do, but if he is your friend and you're comfortable with it...go for it.

Why on earth would anyone want to spend 4 years in Knoxville where they will be constantly bombarded by creepers? I know I'd think twice.

I asked him if it got on his nerves when people post stuff on their walls and he said not at all that he does it to Markeith's daily and that if it wasnt for all the support he might not have came...

If you were Matt Milton, I'd be ok with posting on Ambles wall. Like I said though, theres a big difference between a simple Go Vols (which I still would stay away from) and begging a kid to come to UT or argueing over why UT is better than UF. Thats chilish and disrespectful to said recruit.

I completely agree. There are so many UT fans who act like clowns. I've seen them arguing with fans of other teams multiple times and I've wanted to come to Volnation several times and call them out. If you don't have anything nice to say, just keep your f'n mouth shut.

the recruits love it or theyd not have it set up so that random people could contact/post

i think its pretty queer to beg them to come to TN but a lil hello is harmless
