I just can't get my brain around why it matters.

i don't have any problem with them serving either, as long as they keep it to themselves.

I am not sure anyone is "happy" about it in this forum. I would say most, if not all, are indifferent about it. Gays have been in the military as long as we've had a military.

Joe, you might want to get on a message board that has more far left liberals. You seem hell bent espousing your anti-liberal viewpoints to a group that is far right to center left. There are many in here that don't agree with you, but very few are actually the type of liberal you hate venomously.

oh i don't want them to serve, but if they have to, they need to keep in the closet. i really don't want them to be marching in some gay parade wearing the uniform, but that's just me.

i don't hate them at all, it's the policies that i hate. it's what they want to do with this country that i hate.

I have seen you state on numerous occasions that all liberals should be hung for treason...but you don't hate them?

BTW, many of our military heroes from WWII were liberals. At least in the sense for which I label someone a liberal

Just because someone thinks of themselves as a liberal doesn't mean they espouse the views of the far left crowd, but I do agree with you to a certain extent.
