The pot calling the kettle black. Uconn fans are much more respectful of TN than visa versa. Recently I've read on this board someone said they were dreaming that Breanna Stewart blew out her knee. Talk about bad mouthing - calling Geno Auriennema, and many other vile unsubstantiated slurs. For someone who doesn't visit uconn forums, how do you know people make fun of her illness? I've never seen that happen. And obviously you care what they say since you took the time to expound on the subject. Lastly, there are many Lady Vol fans who are regular contributors on the uconn BB and they are welcome there. Also many members from other teams like Duke, ND, Stanford, and others.

I don't see what is wrong with being critical of Pats past performance or Holly's current performance so long as it isn't libelous or slanderous. So please get down off your high horse until you actually act the way you profess to act.

Well einstein when you read a recap of a tn game and they arent even playing uconn and then you scroll down and surprise there are comments. If tn wins you see no uconn comments. If tn loses well then the uconn fans are all in a tizzy. I didnt expect any other reaction from uconn fans. Once again thanks for proving my point.

I would love to see them fall to the bottom without talent Geno can't coach any better than anyone else. Since he started out with no talent, that is provably untrue. He needs number one players to win and can't win then when Tennessee has one like Candace Parker and Holdsclaw. TN can't seem to win even with a number one player (Russell).

The facts are Tennessee is number one in attendance in the nation. They have a 20000 seat arena and more fans than most other teams put together.
I really don't need to talk to you about Tennessee coming back because you can't tell a person that has UConn up the a$$ anything.
I'm not worried about this season we didn't have enough perimeter players to win the title. We will still have a great season and win over 25 games.

Lots of games are blacked out so the only choice is to go to the games. They have a 20000 seat arena and more fans than most other teams put together. A gross exaggeration. TN draws 11,200 per game. Iowa's attendance is 9,700, only 1,500 less than TN. Louisville draws 8,000 and their YUM Center is bigger than Tenn's arena. So just those two teams combined draw way more than TN does. Not, as you say "more fans than most teams put together" and it appears that Tenn's attendance is getting close to be surpassed by others. BTW, Uconn draws 8,500 per game but they are in a rural area with little population nearby plus all their games are televised in High Def over a large part of the country and are never blacked out locally.

I'm not a football fan and don't even follow the schools I attended. Not many did. 11,000 students. A good football crowd was 5,000. My other school had 15,000 students and only drew about 44,000 attendance during a year when they went to the Rose Bowl, so that's not so great either. That's like a high school game in Texas.

BTW, I didn't attend uconn, and I once lived in Farragut, TN while briefly working at Oak Ridge Nat. Lab. I still think they let me go because of something I said about Pat Head. :yes:

I'm a 1974 UTK grad and longtime Lady Vol supporter...Pat Summitt is my all time favorite coach...but she's not perfect. I do visit the Boneyard on occasion...I'm an admirer of Geno the coach and the man...

With that said my 'take is that the Boneyard is very much like 'The Summitt'...both have some knowledgeable and passionate fans.....however I certainly hope neither are a reflection of their real fan base....I do think the Boneyard is moderated much better than the Summitt...I think in general they are more reasoned and objective....unfortunately many on both boards are zealots in the absolute worst way...
