I hate USC but they would have killed either of the teams on that field tonite. They had one real hard road loss. At the end of the year I think USC was by far playing the best ball.

2. USC
3. Texas
4. Utah
5. Oklahoma

If there was a championship trophy handed out for "playing the best at the end of the year," USC would have about six titles in a row.

I think USC has the best coach and program right now, but they usually end the year playing a Big 10 team 10 minutes from home.

Yeah, I wasn't meaning for that to come off sounding like an endorsement of USC. It was more of a "Get off it, for cripes sake..." kind of statement.

they played for the national championship and lost a close won and also won the conference that both Oklahoma and Texas are in. I'm not going to penalize Oklahoma because they lost in the national championship game. if they had been blown out, then ok, I'd put Texas ahead of them
