they played for the national championship and lost a close won and also won the conference that both Oklahoma and Texas are in. I'm not going to penalize Oklahoma because they lost in the national championship game. if they had been blown out, then ok, I'd put Texas ahead of them

In other words, you want me to buy Utah being ranked higher than 5th based on subjective factors, but you get to ignore the fact that Texas lined up and beat Oklahoma for all the world to see.
