The Grizzlies announced Friday that Pippen will be re-evaluated in three weeks after he was diagnosed with a bulging disc in his lower back following an MRI.

I get off the exit in Germantown last night. Cops right off the exit ramp (couldn't go right, accident). Once I go right after flipping a b****, I go to the gas station on the left (by the Walgreens that got robbed with News crews there). Such a s*** city bro. I don't carry one in the chamber too too often (60/40ish), but you're damn right I did last night.

I don’t defend it anymore. It is what it is and I came to this realization a few years ago. My wife and I are set on leaving, as soon as an opportunity presents. This city is never recovering from the last 5-10 years of deterioration. I live in the suburbs (Germantown) and I only venture downtown for the Grizz games and occasional Redbirds games. I’m sick of it too and I think a lot of people like me who never thought they’d want to move away are doing so.

Had my SUV broken into on the street in front of the house that I rented in the Yorkshire subdivision off Quince several years ago. Woke me up to what’s going on.

I get tired of hearing the crime is everywhere argument. Memphis is a special case of sh*t. Crime is spreading eastward too and Germantown and Collierville eventually won’t be able to contain it. It’s already happening frequently in Collierville due to the 385/Byhalia exit and it being a quick “getaway”.

As someone who moved away from Memphis, be careful what you wish for…*

*Does not apply to Nashville or Knoxville
