imagine how great of a message it would send to the american people as their intentions if they decide to not build it there. a simple statement of "while we might not agree, we realize the strong emotions about us building this mosque at this site. therefore as a sign of tolerance and to further help islam and american relations we will build this mosque elsewhere."

When they decide to take the option that you did not mention.(which is what they are pursuing) You are within your rights to question the motive. Considering the "gap" they want to bridge supposedly.

Basically all you can do is take what they "say" and "watch" what they do and make an opinion from it.

I reminded him that clearly Bloomberg has displayed a naivety over terrorism - case in point when the Times Square bomb attempt happened, who did he blame? Nope, not the groups that already killed 3000 most of which occurred a few blocks away. Not the group that tried to bring down WTC a decade before that either. It was some mentally deranged person not liking Obamacare. Keep your quarter Mr. Mayor.

We are very confident that we can build a product that meets the needs of the market right now.”

Bloomberg LLC has news bureaus throughout the Gulf Corporation Counsel (GCC) and is opening offices in Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
