Z-Nation on SyFy

Z Nation was on tonight! If you missed it there is a repeat at 12am and 4:30am on Sunday.

Well, it's produced by Asylum. I wasn't expecting much and my low expectations were rewarded.

That premiere was hysterical.
The guy getting cooked inside the fridge was a nice touch.
They paid extra this week for the charging, US army zombie CGI.
The slow-mo shootout in the woods was great.
Lesbo zombies eating each other, LOL!
The tranny dancing, ripping it's own arm off.
The fire extinguisher kill topped off the night.
I like how they wrapped things up in the first episode and got everyone back together too. So many shows drag that crap out.

OMG! Whoever directed this episode is pure genius! Bra freaking Vo!

Mack died, but oh well. I guess he hasn't really done much in a while in the show anyway. Plus I think it's a trade off for the new swat/soldier type guy.

Seems like the main characters are going out based on how known they are; i.e. the more recognizable you are, the better chance you die. Though DJ Qualls should be gone if that's the case. Warren I know from The Bernie Mac Show. The rest of the cast I haven't seen in anything.

Pretty good season so far. I fast forward through all of DJ Qualls parts so I hope nothing important is happening there. Doc is as equally bad but he's usually surrounded in the important parts so I'm stuck with him.

I was fairly impressed to see William Sadler(the big rig driver) make an appearance on ZNation. He's a solid actor who's been in a lot of movies and tv show.

Shawshank, The Green Mile, CW The Flash, Hawaii Five-0, Homeland, The Blacklist.

Me too, I was hoping he would stick around a couple episodes.

You forgot his best movie, Tales From the Crypt Presents: Demon Knight. Lol

Hahaha! I went to the theater to see that when it came out in fact. Oddly enough his name slipped my mind and that was the movie I referenced to look him up!

That was a classic! The Crypt Keeper, love him!

I'd love to see them bring him back with John Kassir of course.

Me too, The Crypt Keeper was great.

Just watched The Voice, that last thing was so staged. Lol

That movie was stupid, but I always thought he was pretty badass in that movie. Billy Zane as the demon was pretty good too.

He's definitely the best actor that has appeared so far.

Also surprised Emilio Riveria is now on, he was pretty good on Sons of Anarchy.

So the last 3-4 episodes have been awesome because there's been hardly any DJ Qualls.

Also, I really have no idea what direction these people are going. They are supposed to be going to California but a few episodes ago they were in Wyoming and now they're close to Memphis on the Mississippi River. I know they threw in some throwaway lines about fallout but it seems like they are going ridiculously off course.

This last episode was probably one of the worst I've seen so far if I'm being honest. All the others this season have been great though.

I don't mind DJ Qualls he doesn't bother me as much as he does you and Jerry. They haven't even shown DJ Qualls the last few episodes. Just checked IMDB, he's not in it again for another 3 episodes, provided you can actually go by IMDB.

The last wasn't that great I'll agree.

Rick and his crew wandered around for weeks to pretty much end up 10 feet from where they were for 4-5 years. As you said this crew is taking some crazy route to Cali. Evidently the ZA destroys peoples ability to navigate properly.

This season has been pretty solid though.

That may be part of the joke, since the show is at least part parody.

Anybody finish out the season?

The fact that the guy from the zetas survived is quite perplexing. Was that a shot at TWD for saving Glenn? Lol
The guy wasn't even liked by anybody.

Murphy's baby zombie at the end was pretty darn funny I have to say.

10K is alive but how did he get out of the sub?

I finally got around to finishing the last 5 episodes. I'm kind of over this show. It was entertaining for a while but the joke is kind of wearing thin. It's funny, for as much as it is parodying TWD, it's now running into the same problems, mainly adding 3 episodes just added filler that wasn't needed. I'm kind of tired of the whole Murphy thing too, that's getting a bit old.

I'll probably watch next season but may wait and binge watch it.
