To me, it looks like they're trying too hard to be Guillermo del Toro.
I wanted to be a special effects guy when I was young. Its pretty cool stuff.
I've watched the first 3 episodes, please tell me it gets better.
As slow and sometimes silly TWD has been, at no point would I ever say ZN >>> TWD; unless we're talking from a "so awful it's great" type situation.
As much as I like a good storyline, and acting, I want to be entertained. For me I was more entertained by ZN than TWD the last couple episodes. Honestly I'm not even really looking forward to Sunday. I'll always watch but its not must see TV for me now. Hopefully they fix that this season.
Well, I have to admit, things did get better. I thought the meth zombies and viagra zombies were a tad stupid (they're dead, so there's no blood circulation, right?). the episode where Citizen Z is hallucinating the Russian cosmonaut because the air system in the bunker is failing was pretty good. The last episode is puzzling, though. It leaves the viewer hanging as to what is going on with Murphy, but with nuclear missiles about to rain down on everybody, how do you continue?
All the episodes you just mentioned were pretty good. The meth and viagra zombies you just take at face value, don't think about it too much and it's silly fun.
What did you think about the mutant guy on that last episode?
