Z-Nation on SyFy

Ehh, I think it's out of order. The way they asked indicated they hadn't seen them in a while, which would line up with them getting seperated.

The real telling part will be if next episode they open talking aboit losing both of them.

They were not exactly broken up about it either, it was pretty casual considering he ran into bullets raining down on him.

I know this but What does that have to do with anything? Oh cause Syfy is the better programming and would never put episodes out of order...I gotcha :)

Actually, that's not what I was saying I was simply making an observation.
:)

reading through the thread, I'm glad I stopped watching after episode 3. I may pick it up if it makes it to Netflix, that way I won't have to suffer through commercials for the equally terrible reality series "Face Off",

I actually liked this episode aside from the Nukes. I even thought patient zero looked pretty neat toward the end. Not sure how Mack survived but ok.

Pretty decent season finale. Patient zero was pretty quality work. Anyone else notice them stealing Rick's line from TWD about it not being a democracy? Lol. Murphy couldn't have bit the asian chic on the arm instead of her face? Looks like your dream may come true of killing off DJ Qualls. Did you know he's actually from Manchester, TN?

Oh, and I told you so about Mack possibly surviving. Only Fox is dumb enough to air episodes out of order. :)

I thought the same thing about Murphy biting the girl, I guess they felt the need to make sure we knew what happened. I pray Qualls dies, if ever joins the group somehow I'll cry. Lol

Shut it lol

I still don't know why you hate Qualls so much. He has nowhere to run and even if he survives the nukes he's in the middle of the arctic and poorly dressed. Did you notice how many nukes were headed in which directions?

Pretty good episode to end the season. I actually hope qualls character doesn't die. Mack surviving is a bit ridiculous but oh well.

He sucks in everything except Legit. On a show of bad actors he's the worst, he's just painful to watch for me.

Honestly none of them would survive the nukes. Is that question rhetorical? I'm actually a little confused, it looked like 7 or 8 going to different parts of the planet. I'm assuming major countries built in conter-strike for a nuke being launched. Then he said, oh no the dipsy do ultimate switch aroo or whatever. Lol Then there were 5 I think headed toward him.

Technically you're wrong about none of them surviving. The group in Colorado has a decent chance since the area seemed rocky and mountainous. Nuclear blasts follow the terrain so if you manage to get behind a hill the blast would technically shoot up the hill and over your head.

Still a better season finale than The Walking Dead. Yeah I said it. Lol

Yes, far more entertaining indeed!

Wouldn't the radiation get them still?

If you know which way the wind is blowing that day you'd have one great advantage already(typically flowing from west to east). A car would help protect you to an extent from falling particles but you'd still need to keep moving, south west is an ideal direction provided normal wind patterns. You'd want to try to get to a basement or a nice thick concrete building, a concrete library would be ideal with book stacks lining the walls. You'd want to try to get somewhere within 30 minutes of the initial blast. Also being at least a mile away from the blast radius is ideal for a 10kt(Hiroshima) bomb. 12 to 24 hours is an ideal time to stay in your shelter as fallout decays rather quickly.

How to shelter from fallout after a nuclear attack on your city

The Mack/Addy shots looked almost spliced in from stock footage. Or like they shot them looking up almost like "Hey let's shoot them doing this just in case we want to reference them for some reason."

My guess is the nukes get disarmed at the last second by hacker boy.

I think both Mack and Addy are still in the show and their stories aren't over, obviously or they wouldn't be in the preview looking up at the nuclear missiles flying around.

Maybe but they're awfully close and he's standing outside looking at them and nowhere near a computer. My other thoughts were maybe they are duds or maybe they reroute at the last minute.

Season 1 is now up on Netflix. Which is good, because the only thing that sucks worse than this show is a commercial for "Face Off".

Lol! Were you the one hating on Face Off before or in another thread?

I had seen the first several seasons of Face Off and thought they were pretty good. Skipped it for a few seasons (for no particular reason) and am DVR'ing this latest season.

I've never watched the show, but in a time when CGI is king, makeup like that seems pointless unless you're working on a stage production of Babylon 5 or Farscape.

The blond chick that hosts the show is pretty hot, though.

The type of make up they're doing on Face Off might not be as prevalent as it used to be but for me it's interesting to not only watch them put the characters together but to ultimately see that end result.
