Wonder why he's not with Urban now. OSU >>>>>>>Wisconsin? Serious??????

I have no idea. But when a championship coach calls a guy a relentless recruiter with a great understanding of schemes and recruiting roots in Florida, it's not a bad thing, as much as some on here will try to make it.

It's almost 9:30. Time for another VN ***** session about our new WR coach.

Aaron hernadez and Percy harvin are currently starters in the NFL. Both under Zach, That's just 2 off the top of my head.

great recruiter, great coach... great hire. :good!:
Exsqueeze me. Check out his rivals recruiting profile. He's signed a whopping 7 recruits his entire college coaching career. Three 2* commits and four 3* commits. And, that's with him being a florida a year. So...yeah.

Yeah it's crazy. Look at all the recruiting classes at all the schools he's been at and you notice that other coaches are credited with all the other commits. And the one or two he's credited with are 2 or 3 *s. But I guess rivals just bold face lies about stuff like that.

I've supported most everything CBJ has done but this hire is AWFUL!! Almost as bad as Jancek as DC. Very disappointed

He's only @ mid 30's. Not many coaches at that age are going to build great resumes. Again, don't know much about him, but Urban wanted him, Bulemia wanted him, and CBJ wants him. That's UF, UW and UT and he's prolly 35.

U don't like Azzanni?

He's a stud, to go along with several other stud recruiters, with SEC experience mind you.

AND, there's familiarity with coach Jones...

You saw this previous season what happens when you throw a bunch of unfamiliar coaches together... Discord and confusion.

I'm all in!

Please tell us who Azzanni has ever recruited. Do some actual research before calling him a stud especially when referencing recruiting.

I actually agree. They wanted him for a reason. I just don't buy that reason being "stud recruiter." But that doesn't mean he can't be a great coach. Hell he probably is a great coach, otherwise Fla, Wisconsin, and Tennessee wouldn't want him. I'm not hating on the hire, just pointing out that he is in no way a proven "stud recruiter."

Urban hired him for one year as a wr coach. Urban didn't need him to recruit at Florida they already had that covered. When Urban went to TOSU he didn't try to hire Azzanni. Bieliemi hired Azzanni for one year at Wisconsin but didn't want him on his staff at Arkansas. Do you see a pattern here? Look at his actual recruiting record not coach speak from Urban. Terrible hire

Doesn't mean he isn't a great coach.

He likely is a decent coach but we needed either a great DC or a dynamic recruiter with that last hire. CBJ has fooled me once. I went to bat with everyone concerning his staff now I'm left wondering WTF he's thinking. Pitiful
