Zach Rogers

No. He did run the fastest 40 laser timed at the Nike Camp in Athens GA though... 4.47. That is very fast.

Throw a quick screen to the receiver. Or run mesh routes. If a receiver is good enough he'll be able to get open.

Yeah, those goal line screens tend to work real well. . . You need big receivers to convert short yardage plays and to make plays in the red zone. You may disagree, but you would be also disagreeing with the entirety of the NFL on this matter.

Not building an NFL offense. Building a college offense. Big receivers that can run are fine with me. I just don't like the 5'10 185lb receivers that run 4.5s. They have no use here at Tennessee.

You wouldn't want a Percy Harvin on the team?

LOL. A Steve Smith or even Ced Wilson type player would start here easily.

Pretty much. I just want some home-run threats that's all. I know what type of receiver gives a corner the most trouble. One that can get deep and make plays after the catch. Little guys like G.Jones(not bashing he just hasn't proven anything) and others in his mold really frustrate me.

Yes, you are probably correct. That is why all those SEC top programs offered him. Of course, he is also very small at 6'2''. We should only go after receivers who are at least 6'6" and run a flat 4.0.

Top SEC programs=Auburn, Vandy, SCar, Alabama?

To be honest, I see one good offer on his whole list, and thats from Bama.

I wasn't talking about Rogers. We were really off thread sorry.

Auburn is not a top program? I would say Alabama and Auburn are just as elite as Tennessee. I would bet others would have offered too if they did not think he is so UT solid.

In short, you have been running your mouth in this thread calling him small (he is 6'2"), slow (which he is not), etc. You are the kind of guy that will argue something even when all the facts say different. You probably argue that up is down.

One bad season, and now an offer from Auburn isn't good? He got that offer before their terrible season btw.

idk, I've just never really considered Auburn one of like, the top SEC teams. They're pretty consistently good, and they had the one great year, but idk. If anything, I see them on the downturn instead of up. I really doubt they do too well under Chizik.

I wasn't talking about him dude. I stated in a post above but obviously you don't want to read. Your to busy trying to prove a point to me.

Well, I did not read through 35 pages of posts, but I did read enough comments by people to know that there is a lot of misinformation about him going on in this thread. It certainly looked like you were talking about him, so it's your freaking fault. LOL

How old are you? Auburn has had a lot of great teams, won SEC championships, and national championships. How much more elite do they need to be? They ain't Vanderbilt or Old Miss.
