Zach Rogers

Are you comparing Florida to Kentucky? Please say your not. Also you can argue all day but Bret Smith was more reliable, more athletic, and just a flat out better talent.

Yeah, I'm talking about the Kentucky team that beat LSU that year and almost beat Florida. That Kentucky team.

Look, I don't know how we got off on this. My point, lies within this:

Look at Ainge in Cut's system. The ball was coming out fast and there were hardly any passes downfield due to the lack of a deep threat. Them sytem with Smith, Meachem, and Swain was much better and a lot more explosive. Those guys were above average college receivers.

"Them (which I believe you meant to say the) system with Smith, Meachem, and Swain was much better and a lot more explosive". What you don't realize is that the system that those 3 were explosive in and really excelled in WAS Cut's system, which you tried to accredit Rogers' success with. I wasn't even going to argue with you until you started playing the system card and then spit out that nonsense.

We can argue all day. But it all comes down to where you have some players that make the system and you have some players that are made by the system. Proof Mike Williams and Matt Leinhart they are nothing without that system. And Leinhart doesn't have an excuse with all the talent he had to throw to in Arizona.

Bret Smith wow'd me with that TD catch that he snagged away from a db at the goaline....can't remember who that was against but Smith always seemed to be open when we needed it...especially in the red zone.

Me, not so much. He showed flashes of greatness, but never reached his full potential. Then again, it's all of a matter of opinion on that one. My argument was something more fact-based, which is something completely different. It's all good though, we'll let this thread die down to the second or third page and then someone can come back in here and beat a dead horse.

Even though this argument is over the team he did that against was Florida.
