You could say this about any receiver. I just dont understand your obtuseness toward Zach Rogers. You have posted all over the recruiting threads about how you want speed and ironically, Zach will probably be the fastest player in this recruiting class. Then you complain about something else.
The whole thing is getting old and quite annoying.

Do you guys realize that you've spent the better part of 500 posts arguing with Lockdown about how Rogers isn't a quality athlete and Moore is the best receiver we have?

I'm actually amazed you were able to keep it going this long, I would have thought Lockdown would have bowed out about 5 pages ago. Carry on. This could be fun.

To tell the truth I left Rogers alone. But everyone wants me to talk about him. I mean I stated earlier that I wasn't talking about him I that I was off thread but I guess some guys don't want to read. If they want me to talk about Rogers after this post. Hey I just may start back.

For some reason Lockdown seems to have a low opinion of G. Jones. I wouldn't say Jones is 4X better than D. Moore, or even 2X as far as receiver goes, but he is a heckuva of a football player and athlete. IMO, one of the best athletes on the team. Of course Berry easily wins that award.

Now back to Zach Rogers. I hear he is a pretty good athlete and tough kid. He is obviously pretty fast.

Did it every occur to you that I was posting at the same time that he posted that he was not talking about Rodgers? In fact, that is what happened. I do know that there has been a bunch of BS on this thread about Rogeres and some guys keep arguing BS when the facts are exactly opposite of what they are saying (i.e., he is small, slow, etc.). Therefore, my posts are to the couple of guys on this thread who have been bashing Rogers, and they know who they are. I am sick of reading it.

Great kid and a good player. He will do well here. He won't be a superstar, but he will be effective. Kinda like a Jermaine Copeland type receiver.

I also. There are those on this board that would bash the Pope for being Catholic, A Bass for being a fish, A Horse for being an Equine, and an Eagle for being a bird. They hate anything Tennesse especially if it ever walked or rode, flew over it or swam by the campus on the River. Hell some of the jakelegsare still taking cheap-a** shots at CPF, CJM, CBB, CDD, CM, CBW, CRN, etc., etc., ad infinitum.

Isn't it sad how some dingle-berries can't find anything positive in the program?:question:

What the heck? What has he done to prove he's a better receiver? He doesn't have more big plays. He's not faster. He talks a heck of a lot more but does nothing unless we're playing Kentucky. He's so versatile. But Lucas Taylor could have done the same things when asked. He's a PR. Please he can't even take it to the house with the best of blocking. We'll really see how good he is in this system. This system requires real receivers not that garbage G-Gun stuff. Berry let Gerald know how you should run the ball out of that terrible package.

Moore has 17 less catches for 49 more yards over his career.

Both players haven't played in 7 games the past 2 years.

He can provide the critical deep threat that an offense needs. He can help to keep a safety out of the box. He also has proven even when he was a freshman that he has big-play potential. He will breakout this year for us.

His longest catch was 34 yards and he had no TD's as a freshman. He didn't really prove anything then.
