Next draft Tennessee has a top 10 pick in Pearce and the year after hopefully a #1 pick in Nico.

Every mock draft that is worth a damn has had Lloyd going ahead of Wright. Most draft boards had Wright ranked in the 90-110 range as an overall prospect. Some, like Kiper, have him rated higher, but it’s not a real surprise that he’s still on the board.

When alt was off the board we were already in trouble. Sometimes you're just screwed. I can accept that.

Just got back from dinner with friends, so haven’t had a chance to watch tonight, but I see Wright is still on the board. Thats disappointing.

Not looking forward to the narrative spinning back up that Heupel’s system kills the draft stock of good offensive skill players. I don’t necessarily believe that to be true, but some recruiters are going to use Hooker, Hyatt, Tillman, and Wright all going later than expected to negatively recruit us.

It’s still nothing like last year and the utter freak out over Jalin Hyatt “falling” to the third round. This, despite the fact that he had been projected as a third round pick for the last six weeks of the draft process.

Star system has always been about probabilities, and a numbers game.

But the evaluations have continued to improve over the years.

In short - It pays to recruit 4 & 5 Stars in volume. The rankings, in the aggregate, are predictive.
