This is interesting - Hyams tweeted that two former UT players were possibly involved:

2 former Vol FB players were involved in Thomas incident. Neither has been charged yet. We will not ID them until/unless they are charged

I know there are rumors that Michael Sawyers was involved, but who's the other former player?

Have they been dropped? Last I read (2 days ago) he has a preliminary hearing on the 29th.

True, but if it said proven innocent, one would assume the charges were dropped, whereas just saying the charges were dropped doesn't imply that he's innocent.
