If Reid sets up any OVs other than UT, I think he is gone. At this point, he has not done that. I still like the idea of Kamara and Reid at RB for our 2015 class.

If the staff wants a 3rd RB, alright. If the rumors are true that Paulk may still be a Vol, then I see no reason to take another. JMO

I know your opinion on how we should honor a commitment, but do you think Bussey or Love would be an upgrade from Reid if Reid began looking around?

I would not trade Reid even up for either one.

Now if he Reid wants to take some trips, then all bets are off and the coaches should fill the spot with the guy they feel they have the best chance of sticking and helping win ball games. I do like Bussey more than Love. If the staff plans to honor both commitments for Bruce and Perry, I see no need to take Love. JMO

Gotcha. You must really think highly of Reid. I would just prefer a different style back for our offense. Reid seems like a perfect fit for Arkansas or Georgia. I think Vanderbilt would be a good fit for him too.

I've always been a fan of the steady RB who can get 1st downs. I know fans like the excitement of the guy who can take 1 in 50 carries to the house from 75 yards out. Give me the guy who can tote it 20-25 times in the SEC and average 5 yards a pop and I'm good to go.

I think if he wanted to get the most carries early Vandy would fit his running style. He would probably have the most success there, but it wouldn't matter because Vandy is terrible.

I understand some of the hatred I guess for Vanderbilt, but honestly I am completely indifferent to them. Yes it sucked losing to them last year, but that was just not a very good team who was starting a true freshman in Dobbs who was missing our best weapon in North. However, I feel that a rivalry has to have some kind of historical precedent, and based on the record Vanderbilt is not a rival. The overall record is just a beatdown. They hate us, but we basically win every year. Who cares?

I look at Vanderbilt maybe in a little better light than someone like Northwestern, but I do not see them as a rival.
